Love this pub! We have lunch quite often here, which is always lovely. Last night a few of us had drinks and an evening meal and it was amazing! I absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend eating lunch and dinner. I’m going to give the curry night a try soon too. Good value and tasty food all accompanied by a nice friendly atmosphere! Well worth a try.
Friendly pub ideally located for a stop en route from London to Southend Airport, great menu, all our meals were very tasty, best chips for some time, proper chips , and vegetables done to perfection. 😀😃

Had an excellent roast beef Sunday dinner here with everything cooked to perfection. Lashings of gravy which is unusual when you go out to lunch.
Delicious bread and butter pudding for dessert with again, lashings of thick custard.
Empty plates and bowls all round👍
Recently had a party here and was very impressed with the service. Everyone was so helpful. The manager Mel couldn’t do enough for us. Would happily recommend this pub to my friends for their parties. A great night had by all.
Really excellent food! Had the takeaway roast, thoroughly enjoyed! Massive portions, so tasty! I had chicken, friends had lamb. Top quality meal. Friendly polite efficient service. Can't recommend enough and will re visit!!! Geoff.
Update - had another meal there today lovely haloumi burger, and chicken with Stilton and leek sauce and new potatoes. Delicious!
Called in for a light lunch. Quality of food very good. Staff friendly and efficient. Indoors of pub clean and welcoming. Out grounds well set up good for dogs. Would recommend and will be back.
Fantastic staff particularly Jordan and Victoria, amazingly good food, great portions, especially for bar snacks, check out the ribs as a main, we definitely recommend The White Hart 👍🏼

Really nice local pub, small and very traditional, friendly staff and the food is really nice, plenty of parking and great location, they also have live bands and events on as well
