Srihata is the new chic restaurant that used to be Tagore. Srihata takes on the more urban Indian approach to the menu they offer (similar to how the Indian Street Kitchen Brewery do their menus). Parking is limited on street but plenty avaliable at the Miller and Carter next door with no time restr
In the area on business and read the reviews prior to attending. All the positive reviews are totally worthy. From the welcoming front of house staff, lovely interior, and amazing food, all excellent! Like most, I've had my fair share of Indian food, but their food was by far the best I have eaten.
We've eaten in twice here in the past two weeks. We are very well served in the area for great Indian food, this new addition though really stands out. We tried this place just because it was new. Both times the food has been excellent, one of the best in the area. The restaurant itself is very nice
A wonderful dining experience. The team are amazing but so too is the food! Without doubt, my favourite place to eat, I only wish I could get there more often. Whether you dine in and enjoy the ambiance of the fabulous new decor or simply enjoy a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed!
Was a previous fan on of Tagore and missed it when it was closed… I am so glad they took their time. I believe this is now the best Indian Restaurant in the area. You are not overwhelmed with loads of options on the menu, which I believe to be a good sign, the staff are genuinely friendly and the de
Staying in the area so booked a table for 2. Very friendly and helpful staff and a truly delicious meal. Just a shame we do not live near enough to make a repeat visit. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to for a long time.
Had a lovely meal catching up with old friends. The food was delicious, we ordered a selection of starters and mains to share between us. Every dish was beautifully presented and really yummy. The service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful will certainly be coming back again.
Srihata is the best Indian restaurant for miles around and a welcome new addition to the local culinary fare on offer.
I’ve been eating curries all around the UK for many years and this is up there with the best. I’m so glad I don’t have to go far for one of the best rubys to be found anywhere. And
Stumbled across this absolute gem of a place. The decor is splendid to bask in and is a breath of fresh air to dine in the area. Thank you for bringing a touch of cosmopolitanism here! The menu was wonderfully prepared, especially the biriyani which was exquisite. I eagerly look forward to my next
I had a wonderful experience at this fabulous restaurant.. I loved the quirky decor, and the staff couldn’t do enough for you and made you feel very welcome. The food was divine, so many flavours that were so enjoyable, I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning again soon… Thank you
