A massive thank you to Sylvia for a making our kid free Wedding anniversary meal so special. This place is our special place as a couple and this occasion was made a really lovely one for us.
We have been coming for many years and never once had a bad meal.
Another super meal, served by attentive, courteous and friendly Waitresses. We visit every month, meeting up with friends, and have done so, for over two years. So, we now know our Waitresses as Netty and Penny. We are always made welcome and enjoy a nice relaxing Lunch.
The disgruntled couple who moaned about their experience were possibly peeved that the restaurant goers had not sung Happy Birthday for them, as they had for another Diner. Perhaps had they notified the Staff something could have been arranged.Never mind, I have always been of the opinion that if something is not right, speak up, rather than snipe from a distance.
We will see the the fantastic M&C team, next month, can’t wait.

Always great food and service, with very friendly staff!
It is always a pleasure to visit this one, my original favourite out of the 3 in the local area.
It is always busy, but I never struggle to get a table. Whether popping in at the last minute or a celebration dinner.
Tonight, we had a birthday celebration only booked the day before. Thankfully, we were fitted in!
The car park was nice and big for the limo to turn around, and leaving cars slightly earlier for getting back wasn't a problem.
The food is always received hot, looks great, is very tasty and plentiful. We did have 2 rib eyes not up to standard, but they changed them.
We had starters, so we didn't even have room for pudding.
The server was lovely and looked after us all.
Good food but the meal was made great by our waitress Priscilla. She has served us previously on a number of occasions and has always been fantastic. She made today's visit extra special as it was my son's 11th birthday. Thank you!
Been wanting to get to Miller & Carter for ages, and it did not disappoint. The best steak I have had in the UK so far. Comes with all the trimmings and sides. Had the 16oz Ribeye with beef dripping sauce, OMG. Melt in your mouth. Will definitely be back.
The food was ok but nothing special. Service slow, they were busy cleaning and getting ready for the evening, so didn't pay us much attention. Do not think I will go again as I can cook better.
The food was amazing and absolutely fantastic, very well presented and the gentleman and the young lady who serviced our party were very friendly, professional and well mannered. They couldn't do enough for my small party on the day. Brilliant. Will definitely be visiting there again as I want to challenge myself with the £100.00 28 ounce steak meal. 👊🏿👍🏿
Wanted to say how great the service was today from Penny, Sylvia, and a very nice gentleman whose name we didn't get. My companion has a lot of food allergies, and they went over everything to make sure that he would be safe - the ensuing meal was delicious, and he absolutely enjoyed it. They even had oat milk and a special fryer. They bought the milk out to show him - nothing was too much trouble, and my friend was seriously impressed -many thanks to all concerned!
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon without booking and was seated by Priscilla. She was very attentive all afternoon and had a great attitude and sense of humour!
Food was excellent and we had a few cocktails which were very well made also. We couldn’t finish our dessert but Priscilla had it boxed up for us to take home 😊
Excellent meal, wine and drinks. We did not have a reservation and were worried we were dressed too casually, but they welcomed us in. Priscilla, our waitress, was so friendly, and provided great service. She was fun to talk to, and at her advice we visited Henley the following day which was such a neat town. Thank you for a lovely experience.
We had an amazing meal and loved the food. However, our experience of Miller and Carter was made extra special by our waitress Pris. She couldn’t do enough for us and ensured our whole experience was the best. Think you Pris for making our experience so special.
Me and my friend came to the Hockley Heath Miller and Carter's for our first time, and we experienced the most IMPECCABLE SERVICE we have EVER received from any restaurant, the waiters who looked after us Nette and Penny were incredible. They were hospitable, kind, polite and very friendly. They were quick with service and catered for our every single need. They spoke to us with respect and conversed with us for a short while which I think was lovely. The food was faultless the steak was beautifully cooked along with my friends maple glazed chicken. Nette and Penny checked on us a few times and we felt welcomed into the restaurant almost like it was family who was serving and looking after us. The hospitality was so amazing we had to leave a tip. I STRONGLY recommend people dine at this establishment as the quality and standard of hospitality and food were outstanding. You would not be disappointed!
Visited Miller & Carter, Hockley Heath last night for a birthday meal with my wife and brother. We regularly use this particular restaurant since we consistently get good steaks. Our waitress for the evening was Priscilla, who gave us excellent service - she even helped my brother sort out the wifi on his phone and access the Miller & Carter app. Thank you for a lovely evening.
I Absolutely Loved my experience here celebrating my partners granddaughters birthday, the only downside was quite a few of our party had very oily onion loaf which didn't go down well
We had a lovely meal. We have come down from Bristol. Priscilla was so lovely and attentive. Gave us lots of knowledge and a great experience looking after my Grandad and Gran. Thank you for a really lovely time.
We went here for an 18th birthday party. The food was beautifully cooked and also very well presented.
The waiter was brilliant, very happy to help and made the experience even better.
As a vegetarian my options we're quite limited, but that's to be expected in a steak restaurant!!
Lovely meal and great service from Sylvia but M&C does not look after their staff. She was rushed off her feet and we waited ages to be served. Not staff's fault.
