What a lovely pub, with great ales and a charming garden. Great way to spend a sunny weekend afternoon.
Definitely in my top 10 pubs in the world. Great beer, relaxed local, good food, in a bit of a time capsule but in a good way. Been back many times. Always a good pint. Had a lovely burger as well this time.
Had the venison burger which was home made and absolutely delicious. My daughter had the veggi chilli and she said it was lovely. Would highly recommend
Great locally sourced food. Beetroot infused Gravlax and Rabbit in cider stew were top quality and very reasonably priced
Really welcoming pub with a selection of good beers. Not eaten here, but the food always looks good. Nice garden.
Great pub. Good quality lunch, not too expensive. Busy but with efficient service and garden to spread out with kids/dogs.
A beautiful pub in a wonderful setting that proudly presents itself as what it is. A friendly comfortable hospital place for friends family and visitors alike. Serving food that has never failed to impress. An establishment proud to be exactly what it is and not pretending to be something it's not.
Very nice rural pub, serving great food and lovely beers,
This is a beautiful place with good beers, exquisite pub food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Good beer selection and tasty food, garden looks good and the pub is in a nice location
Couldn't have been a better pub. Great atmosphere, good beer, and amazing food, just what we needed after a long walk in beautiful countryside. Also spotless!
Incredible beer and good hearty food. A fabulous pub.
Beautiful setting, friendly landlord/lady/staff, decent beer and honestly priced propper pub grub. Shame you're not open all day Sunday when there's a cricket match on.
A very popular community pub with some good beers like 3 Brewers classic and Sidepocket. Good choices of food on the menu including crab an prawns. On-line menu is only a guide as current menu was on the blackboard. Friendly staff. Good local walks from the pub and an old well with winding mechanism
Proper English country pub Everything to like here Decent food and drink And reasonable prices
Stopped here for a pint or two on bank Holiday Monday part the way around an 11 mile walk. Despite concerns that the pub might be closed, found it was open, and had a couple of very good pints. Would visit again. Chip van in the car park also provided some much need sustenance!
Excellent beer, lovely beer garden, good and unexpectedly interesting food
