We had a work team lunch today, amazing food and really good value for money. The staff were polite, efficient and very accommodating. This was my first time out for lunch since March 20 and I felt very comfortable. Will definitely be back.
Great food and atmosphere, I was in a large group and we had ab amazing meal. We had 3 courses and a selection of wines. Pre booked as a group.

The pizzas here are to die for. I highly recommend the sweet and creamy pizza. Staff are fantastic, and the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a fabulous afternoon with delicious roast dinners with all the trimmings, cask ale, great wines; absolutely fabulous in the beautiful countryside garden with loads of outside tables. Thank you very much Ingrida, Nigel and all the lovely staff. We’ll be booking again soon. Andrew.
Good friendly village pub.
We had Christmas dinner and really enjoyed the hospitality. Good fun with the other guests with a large fantastic big dinner with plenty of time in a relaxed atmosphere.

Visited last Saturday and must say the food was to die for. Fantastic deco and furnished to a very high standard and more importantly very friendly staff they could not do enough to make my visit a pleasant experience. I look forward to my next visit!! . Thank you!

Excellent service, great atmosphere and they always make you welcome. Food is great and a great variety of gins and ales. The pub you must visit.

What a lovely upscale pub in a quiet country area, came across this pub on way back from visiting the Herts pub of the year if anything this pub should be the winner as very updated, nice garden area,friendly staff and chatty customers, good selection of beers and food looked amazing, this pub offers a free bangers n mash on Mondays from 6 pm , so will be returning for that as it's very popular, so if you want a nice relaxing pub with great food then pop in to the bird in hand you won't be disappointed !
