The Rusty Gun - Hitchin - Photo album

Great stop off pub. Went here on a bike ride for a quick burger and drinks. The burger was incredible and tasted soo fresh. Also the chips were perfectly cooked and tasted like they were cut that morning. Also all on 1 plate which was so much easier to eat from. Compared to a lot of pubs that decide
Food was amazing as always, absolutely love the atmosphere every time we have been, nice and chilled. Service has never been an issue here either would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go.
We were well-fed and well looked after at the Rusty Gun on a Saturday evening when many other places couldn't fit a party of 11 people at 8pm. We arrived almost two hours early, hoping to squeeze into a corner or take one of the tables outside temporarily, but our table was ready (it was in the shop
Met friends for lunch. We all had 2 courses including the Rusty Pie which was Steak & Stilton. Delicious. Could've done with a bit more veg but we were still very satisfied with our meal. Good service. Comfortable seats and nice atmosphere. Wasn't that busy being a Wednesday. We will definitely retu
Lovely dining experience with friendly and helpful staff. Child's portion was large and provided plenty for the little one. The Sunday carvery was delicious and offered a wide range of veg and meat (which was cooked well, very moist).
I really wasn't expecting the food here to be anything special but it was absolutely delicious. The waitress was really pushy and kept rushing us to eat the next course. I think she was about to finish her shift. Apart from the service, everything else was great. Lovely atmosphere.
Very welcoming and lovely staff. Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. What l liked was the fact that tables are spaced out unlike in some other places. The food is excellent!
Carvery was amazing! Everyone in our group bar one had it, so will have to go back to try the rest of the menu!
Steak was under cooked, asked for medium well, it was more like medium rare. Staff attitude towards sending the steak back was inappropriate. We then had to ask for the service charge to be taken off the bill, a disappointing evening, we probably will not be returning although we have had many good
We went to the Rusty gun for a birthday meal. Had a lovely roast dinner. Staff were amazing and attentive. The only reason I gave four stars was because the potatoes were a little hard. Other than that a brilliant visit.
