Staff are attentive and the owner has a remarkable memory. Always remembers your name and dietary preferences. Food and service is great, prices are v good too.
Great place for younger families if you have kids that aren't the quietest! There's often a mix of young families and retirees.
Like a warm hug in this place for me today.
'Reviews based on what the place is marketing for, in this case, slighlty high end greasy spoons in my opinion'.
I was very stressed rushing in here to take a meeting in 15 minutes. However, within that time, they had taken my order (bacon roll and a oat milk coffee) and brought it over, with kindness and a smile. Immeadiatly calming me down.
This is a lovely cafe, often bustling, occassionally calm, staff are very flexible and kind.
Only not a 5, as i'd suggest given more/bigger/thicker napkins, i'd shredded through min in about 2 mouthfuls, and maybe some hot sauce and maybe slightly better produce? Although buy as they do is probably why its at such good prices, which i knew coming here.
Friendly, warm classic cafe, in centre of town.
Food was well presented and cooked nicely. Waiting staff could have been a little more cheerful, and welcoming. Clean throughout and well maintained. Good breakfast selections.

Despite the name I would consider this a "dinner" style of eat-in. Not that that is a bad thing, the food here was excellent and the service was great, really friendly staff. Prices are below average and the menu is huge ! Plenty of options for everyone. I ordered the burger special breakfast and most of it was amazing. The only thing stopping it getting 5 stars was the egg was not cooked completely (runny white). Definitely going to go again though, perhaps ordering scrambled to be safe...
Great local cafe serving simple and delicious food. They get very busy yet stay on top of it. Staff are fantastic.
Good was amazing will definitely be coming here again
Nice brunch today. Cumberland sausage baguette and a portion of chips. Good value.
Very high quality food loads of choice just hidden next to Sainsbury's off the main road
Wow what a fantastic meal staff nice and friendly I highly recommend this cafe eat inside or out
The owners can change the name of this little gem of a cafe as much as they like but it still doesn't change how wonderful, helpful and welcoming the staff are. In fact the staff cannot do enough for you. Excellent food. Good prices. For me, it is the best cafe in Hitchin.
Great location, free parking outside for 2 hours in Sainsbury's. Do healthy super smoothies. Good is very nice, good vegetarian options, gets very popular. Open Sundays to
Had a great breakfast with my son. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They look after my mum who goes in most days for a cuppa and company. Can't thank them enough for making mum feel so safe.
This is a little gem, great food, great prices, friendly staff and clean. What is not to like?
1 hint, if buying a breakfast with a sausage consider swapping it out for the Cumberland sausage, it costs a little more but it is well worth it.
I have yet to have a bad meal here and I have had many breakfasts and lunches there.
For me this is the best cafe in hitchin. Huge choice, nice helpful happy accomodating staff, very clean and comfortable premises and not cramped. Prices are about right for the portion size and quality and we have never had a bad breakfast or lunch so far.
loverly little place for a meal great staff always good to go for a meal
10/10....
The food was all hot, cooked to perfection. Lookin forward to coming back here again and trying out some more food!
Bit of a hidden gem. Stopped here last week for a coffee and sat outside under a lovely large umbrella. Dog had a snooze after being bought out some water by the lovely lady that served us. Ordered an oat milk cappacino, tea and a toasted tea cake. All a decent size, very tasty and a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
