I enjoyed this for some leaving drinks. I went big on buffalo wings with ranch and buffalo fries. So loads of buffalo sauce but it really was good. Wing whre really hot in temp. Chips less so but still delicious. The burgers the rest of the people got looked good.

A lovely little gem on a pub, lovely and cozy inside with a large and covered garden. One of the highlights are the two food brands serving food most days at peak times. I had a burger and buffalo fries, the burger was great and juicy with crispy bacon and a good quality bun which is a often over looked item, and the buffalo fries were crispy and spicy with a dollop of creamy blue cheese dressing on top. Unfortunately these are also the reason for the four stars, they were completely drenched in buffalo sauce, almost as if the fries were the cruton to my buffalo soup.
Did I finish them, yes! I don't like sending food back and waiting for a replacement, but I hope that more care is taken in future as if this had been a sprinkle rather than a drowning it would be a five star meal.
Visited Hitchin with friends a couple of weeks ago and this was our favourite place to go!

This is my local. Best pub in H-Town. Does great food - brilliant pizzas, burgers and Sunday lunch. Small inside, but a great space in the garden with heaters. Gets very busy in peak times so best to book ahead if you want to eat.
BEST pub in Hertfordshire in my opinion. Fantastic food and amazing pizza with great toppings.

Was drawn in off the street by the tunes and the aroma of delicious food. My ears and nose did me well. The food was as delectable as it was aromatic and alluring. The band that delighted my ears from the street did not disappoint. I danced. I laughed. I sang. Unfortunately I do not remember their bands name due to the beer that was flowing like water into my gullet. I shall be back!

They were so welcoming and the drinks and food were amazing. The best chicken burger I've ever had. Also had the mango chicken wings which were incredible and I will be dreaming of from now on. The staff were so friendly and there was a great atmosphere even early on a Thursday evening.
My new favourite place to go. I can't believe I've never been here until last week. The food is literally the best I've had. I had a Margherita pizza, chicken tenders, garlic bread. My partner had one of the burgers. I wish I had a bigger appetite as I tried his burger and wanted some more. It was cooked perfectly - so juicy. The staff is super friendly and actually a reasonable price for the quality. Beautiful environment, lovely chill atmosphere. Oh and the fries were amazing and so was the gelato! I'm literally going to bring everyone I know here - I love it!
Amazing place. Beer and a wood fired pizza on a lovely late summer’s evening. Atmosphere was perfect, staff friendly and the food and beer great. First time here and will be back often!

Went for lunch with my partner. We both had the vegan burger. Was not for me but he enjoyed it, was too pasty for my liking. But the scooby snacks were yum and the sriracha chips were really good. Overall still a great place to go eat, staff friendly and drinks fair price. They had a lovely fire going inside, nice and warm. Will try again.
Great food (Burgers, pizza's, wings). Friendly staff and just a good place to be. More for ales and lager than craft beers but plenty of other options.

Great pub in Hitchin and the beer garden is beautiful with festoon and stretch tents. The vibe is really relaxed and I always feel welcome whether I'm having a meal with my family or drinks with my friends. Have the dirty sriracha fries, you won't regret it!
The Victoria, better known as The Vic, is a perfect English pub in Hitchin. Close enough for us to walk to for a drink while staying at a friend's flat at Coopers Yard. They have a great food, specials every night and a well lit up patio so you can even enjoy it at night. There is a private party room you can reserve for special occasions that was being used on our visit. They had advertisements for an upcoming best taco contest for a friendly competition amongst local eateries. The Vic is fun, lively and full of local ambience.
