Went tonight for our Anniversary meal. Quirky stylish venue with a warm farmhouse vibe. There was a polite and friendly welcome on arrival. We enjoyed a fresh cocktail before our meal. A nice wide choice on the menu. We opted for the bbq turbot and a steak, both well presented and cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with a wine recommended by the staff. If you have room tuck into the dark chocolate ganache �. The staff were all attentive and friendly throughout the whole meal. Thanks for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back.
Went there to celebrate our sons 30th birthday, it was lovely. The car park was busy, good sign. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table, the staff were knowledgable about the menu and nothing was to much trouble. The food was fabulous, nicely presented the grouse was so tasty with a lovely rich sauce, the pigeon & game pie was perfect, the lamb was a melt in the mouth moment. After a scrumptious sticky toffee pudding the best I have ever tasted our son was presented with a birthday selection of chocolates from the staff on a decorated plate. Just stayed here for one night, what a delightful place. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was spacious, well decorated and equipped. The surrounding grounds are lovely and well looked after and it is very peaceful and cosy in the bar at night. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious, we really cannot fault this place. We are planning to return soon as we enjoyed it so much.
Myself and my partner stayed last Friday night and had a wonderful meal. The food was amazing, so thankyou to the chef. I also have to say what lovely staff you have, but a big mention to Zach and Helen who were so attentive towards us through our evening, and made our experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend anyone to have a meal here.xx

Haven't been for ages and what a lovely evening. Hubby took me for Valentine's treat and only just had a baby felt really spoilt.
Food was just amazing. Belly pork for starter beef for main and no room for desert.
The only thing I didn't enjoy was the potatoes with the surf and turf. Shame but the rest of the meal was amazing. Fresh bread freshly made on site.
I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Redcoats celebrating my daughters birthday. As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly and looked after by welcoming, attentive staff. The bar was well stocked and had a great selection of Gins. We had a private room with a lovely open fire and everybody enjoyed their food, my only criticism was that the food was just warm, that said it was a lovely experience and we will be back.
Great hotel, fabulous staff and great food and drink. Would definitely recommend. Great find and will be back.
