Taste Buds - Hitchin - Photo album

First time here and just stumbled across them whilst waiting for a nearby business to open. Excellent all round. Though only had time for a quick cup of tea, was scalding hot so could only drink half sadly before having to leave for my appointment. But none the less an extremely perfect cup of tea
My first visit to this lovely little cafe in Hitchin. Friendly staff providing excellent service. I ordered a pot of tea and a chicken and bacon sandwich. The tea served was high quality loose leaf tea which was an unexpected surprise. The sandwich was served with an extremely fresh, generous, salad
Kam and the team provided an excellent finger buffet for my father-in-law's 100th birthday last Sunday. It was very fresh, well presented and delivered on time to the hall. Thank you also to Shirley for good communication throughout. Thank you
A fantastic café very well located in Hitchin. The coffee is great as is the choice of sandwich/baguette fillings. I haven't tried their cooked breakfasts, but they look and smell very good. Every member of staff is friendly and it is professionally run. It's our 'go-to' place in the town. If you do
I really liked this Sandwich shop. The staff were very friendly to myself and my dad and they do really good jacket potatoes. I would definitely go back there again sometime. It is a must recommend to anyone who likes sandwiches.
Excellent choice of fillings for sandwiches and baguettes. All are very tasty and generous. The staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming and the coffee is great too! No trip to Hitchin is complete for us without visiting this fantastic café.
Great little find on Hitchin High Street! Very friendly & quick service and the food was delicious. We were able to sit "outside" in a covered area at the back of the cafe. Gluten free food available, including a selection of fab cakes. Will definitely be back!
Niceand clean good food and great service thank you .
I've walked past here many times, but not ventured, so I was pleasantly surprised on this, my first visit. Went for a coffee and a bite to eat with a friend and quality of product was really good, as was my coffee and the table service that came with a smile!. Goes back quite a long way and room is
Best sandwich shop in Hitchin by a mile! The chilli chicken, seafood mix and hot roast pork (with wonderful crackling) are delicious! The salads and jackets are also wonderful. Great service given by Charlton and his fab team. Always a warm welcome and cheery faces. A real pleasure to visit!
By now I'm addicted to the Sunday Brunch! Taste Buds @ Bancroft have the best sandwiches and roast pork in Hitchin. Now they start this great brunch on Sundays. Small menu full of flavours. Still the place to go for a cuppa and a bite.
Nice little cafe to either eat in or takeaway. Lots of choice on the menu, and very friendly staff.
Thank you for the loveliest soup, cake, sandwiches and toasties you've served me over the years. Charlton you and your team are exceptional, there is never a day (and there has been a lot of visits from me) were you and your team haven't greeted me with a smile and the best welcome! It's great to se
I recently ordered a variety of Jamaican dishes for a special event with family and friends in my home. The food was delivered on time and warm with instructions on serving and further heating. The food from Tastebuds was an all round hit with everyone - deliciously flavoured - with a mix of meat an
Lovely little local cafe, with fresh coffee and wonderful cakes. Gluten free cakes available too. I think the menu covered hot sandwiches aswell but we were only In there for coffee and cake. Lovely staff and would visit again
Service excellent. Food excellent, had a Brie and cranberry panini, mug of tea, the tea was really good . Will go again
First visit there and will go again. Attentive service without being overbearing. Good coffee, cake looked nice (I didn't have one myself to taste, but colleague enjoyed) and reasonably priced.
Quite a small cafe with about 20 covers and one outside table . The breakfast bap with two sausages , egg and bacon was great . Hit the spot! .
