You won't find a better welcome. Great service, friendly staff and food has always been first class. We had the Sunday roast and it tasted like proper home cooking, which can't be easy to achieve when they're so busy.

Fantastic service, really attentive and polite staff. Food was delicious, we both went for a roast and both the pork and beef were cooked really well. Great atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back!

Great food and great service. Didn't get a chance to say hi to Gin & Tonic, but I hope to next time. Cosy pub, friendly staff, pub garden too.

Lovely little pub. Running a cracking Gin and Jazz event with a side of good paella too thrown in for good measure. Band and singer were excellent and staff (although mostly young) were very helpful and polite will definitely revisit!

Absolutely superb Sunday lunches, both the beef and pork were second to none. All of our plates went back to the kitchen completely cleared, which speaks for itself. The desserts were also really good. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. We'll definitely be back.

Went for Sunday lunch. Was warmly welcomed and served immediately. We tried the scotch eggs and haggis bon bons for starters. Both were absolutely delicious! The roast lamb and beef dinners were both tasty and plentiful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Lovely village pub with friendly landlord. Excellent selection of food on the menu. The pork kebabs were outstanding. The cider was just the ticket for a hot afternoon out in the beergarden. Loved their goats they have out back (called Gin and Tonic). Highly recommend a lazy afternoon here for drinks and food.

Had an excellent Sunday roast, staff were friendly and very efficient. Was obviously a very popular local establishment with a good reputation. Has a very good sized beer garden (shared with Gin & Tonic the 2 goats) will certainly be going back!!

Terrific food, a warm welcome from Gerry and his staff in this very old atmospheric pub. Said hello to Gin and Tonic their pet goats in a very pretty village, well worth a visit.
