I'm still on cloud 9! My cousin Sarah had her wedding meal here on Sat.Oct, 7th,we were greeted by Dan and immediately knew how professional he was going to be,a bit of Irish banter and we were in! Lovely greeting with "sparkly" and canapes, tea, coffee ,pints of beer all ready and waiting.Well if the church service wasn't moving enough, the reception was laid out so beautifully I was immediately in tears it was breathtaking! Excellent food, the lamb just melted in your mouth, and the attention to detail and the fuss free service was amazing!!Sorry,I can't stop gushing!!It was faultless. There were long pauses between courses but possibly intentional for young ones to leave the room, visits to the toilet, babies to be dealt with etc It all fell into place!Dan wandered around quietly filling glasses, checking everyone had what they wanted then coordinating the speeches putting everyone at their ease.I've worked as a wedding waitress and at no stage did I get the feeling of "what's going on now" it was magical! We flowed from afternoon to evening with equal ease, with dancing and a cabaret act and a lovely rustic buffet to match the theme of the day..Well done to everyone!!Thank-you all, or as they say"thanks a million!"

Our first time after many recommendations and we went last minute. We didn't book for Sunday lunch however I would strongly suggest you do as all the inside was booked up but it was a lovely day so plenty of tables outside. Service was welcoming and attentive. Having seen other meals arrive at tables we opted for the roast beef as it looked amazing. There was a child's menu and she chose fish & chips which was a decent portion and the fish batter was golden crispy with lots of fish meat, tasted great. Our roasts were delicious, very tender and meaty. Will have the extra cauliflower cheese next time based on other reviews. Veg is all grown at the pub and was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again. There is a play area of sorts consisting of big tyres that kids can climb on and lots of grassy areas for doing kart wheels!!!

Took my Mum to the Bull Inn for her birthday on Saturday night. It was our first time at this pub and it was great. The food was divine and the service was great! Our waiter was very knowledgable and made some very good recommendations about the food. We will definitely be back and be bringing our friends 👍🏻🥂

Excellent food. Very tasty. Took about 30-40 minutes which is acceptable wait for good food. Pleasant service from the staff. Now going to try the dessert menu.

Everything was outstanding. The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, the vegetables were fresh and tasty. The lamb was so tender it literally fell apart. It wasn't cheap at 18.95 and 2.95 for the optional add on of cauliflower cheese, however the meal was worth every penny. The perfect cosy pub on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Our server was friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend enough!

Really lovely pub, with large garden and well decorated inside. The standout for me was the desserts - would go again! It’s a dog friendly establishment too.

The Bull Inn is just a stone's throw away from Dyrham Park, and is a perfect stop for lunch with friends and family. It's close enough to the M4 that is isn't an inconvenience but far enough off the main road to feel like deep countryside. We went on a bank holiday, so they had a limited menu, but we were informed that the weekday set menu for lunch normally changes every two weeks which sounds great. The staff were very pleasant and quick with taking drinks and food orders. We sat outside as the weather was so mild, and we took note of how well-presented the area is. The food was excellent and we were very happy with our choices. I would highly recommend paying a visit, but be mindful that when pulling in to the carpark as the road can be busy.

Cosy pub with traditional decor. We were sat next to the fireplace which smelled of wood fire and was lovely. Staff were really attentive and brought us our food/drinks quickly and with a friendly, welcoming attitude. The roast lamb was the best lamb I've ever had!

Went here for a family get together with family that live far away so even more important for it to be a good experience - it was great but we knew it would be as we’ve been several times and it’s always been top notch. Fantastic Sunday lunch, the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble (we had a 1 year old with us!). Lovely pub, great food and lovely staff. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely pub. Excellent staff. Very polite and helpful. All very on the ball. Little disappointed with the way the roast lamb was served (shredded). It was tender but would have much preferred slices. We Could have eaten more veg too. Portions quite small. Overall it was very tasty. Roast beef was good.

My partner and I, along with our dog thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service and atmosphere were just wonderful and we absolutely couldn’t fault the food. Definitely worth the 40 min drive. We’ll be back :)
