Lovely warm welcome by all staff. Dinner was amazing. Beautiful room. We stayed in the Bilbrook. It has got a roll top bath in the room which I loved. Slept really well and enjoyed breakfast. Wish we could of stayed longer. Will definitely be returning.

This was a beautiful place, we had a wonderful dinner over Easter and the food was delicious and perfectly presented.
We also frequented the garden the following day for a drink and to enjoy the sun in a lovely surrounding, we definatly recommend a visit!

We walked to the pub from a cottage we'd rented on recommendation from the owners. We weren't disappointed. The pub was beautifully, food delicious and staff delightful. Would love to go back!
Fantastic food and lovely staff and atmosphere......the confit duck leg and aniseed ice cream (not together!) are definitely recommmended.

Secluded, bijou and bespoke pub with rooms. Lovely roll top bath in rooms and amazing pub food. The perfect romantic getaway. This is our third time to stay and we'll definitely come back!

Went here for the Valentine's meal. Apart from the table, crammed in the corner it was a superb evening. The food was incredible and the service excellent.
Genuinely one of the best pubs I have ever been to. The food was to die for, I had the hake and my partner had the burger. Both of us couldn’t believe how amazing every bite was. Drinks were wonderful, the Greek wine paired lovely with the fish, and I’d recommend the chocolate orange espresso martini. We wish this was our local! Thank you for a lovely evening!
If you're looking for a country pub in Somerset, look no further. We stopped for lunch on the way to Devon and had a fantastic meal (one vegetarian, one meat-based) and were very satisfied! Great service from landlord Jon and the wider team who were all lovely. Look forward to our next visit!
An oasis in the countryside. A classic big house converted into a delightful restaurant bar with several larger and some more intimate dining areas. Food was precise and flavoursome. Staff were knowledgeable and knew the food and drinks menu well. Well worth the visit.
Took my friend out for birthday lunch and was completely taken care of by all staff, very attentive and friendly. The food was top notch with lovely variety of drinks..

Used this play as a stop off on the way home from Cornwall and really enjoyed our one night stay. Service was great from the minute we arrived, the pub has loads of character, and food (dinner and breakfast) was very nice too.
The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more polite and helpful. Food was very good and excellent presentation. Lots of choice for cocktails and ales. Large outside area that is covered so great even if its raining.

We ate here for lunch & were so impressed. Lovely garden setting & the food & service were both great. Would recommend in particular the salt & pepper squid, tomatoes & whipped feta dish, aubergine & sticky toffee pudding (although we had more than this and it was all tasty). Would definitely return.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at this charming pub, the rooms were quiet and tastefully decorated. We ate in the pub both nights and the food was excellent. Our host John was so friendly and generous, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend and will be back!
5 ⭐️ from me. Super friendly staff, cute cosy internals and, most importantly, incredible food! Hope to be back soon on a sunnier day to try out the pub garden. The ribs fell off the bone, the fish was perfect and the skillet cookie hit a home run!
Great menu and lovely interior decor - plenty of personality, just like the staff. Fairly pricey food but overall justifiable and well worth a visit.
