I’ve just spent 2nights here and very happy. The room was clean and comfortable with a decent size shower. Coffee machine, tea and bottled water supplied. I ate there both nights having the proper pie and apple/ blackberry crumble. Delicious. 2nd night enjoyed Brie, Fish & chips followed by lemon tart. Again all delicious. Thanks to Ian and team for a very happy stay. Definitely stay there again.

My husband and I (both in our early 70s) have just spent a night at this B&B and we were very impressed, indeed. The small bedroom was very clean & very attractively decorated, with both tea-making and coffee-making facilities, the latter being a Tassimo machine. The bed was kingsize and comfortable with good pillows The shower room + loo was spotless and stocked with good quality toiletries and soft towels. We ate lunch at the pub yesterday, part of a large family group of 9 adults and 6 children (the children all under the age of 11) and the menu was above and beyond that expected of a small country pub and the food (which was served amazingly quickly considering the size of the party) was, everyone agreed, delicious. Breakfast this morning was outstanding, as good as we have had in top hotels around the world. My only disappointment was that the Eggs Benedict, that featured on the menu, wasn't available for some reason. The cost of our overnight stay, inclusive of breakfast, wasn't steep at all. We would definitely stay at The Ring 'o' Bells again and would recommend it without a moment's hesitation. One suggestion - if you pay upfront, keep a note of the date and method of payment as this will aid checking out.

They've thought of absolutely everything to make staying here excellent. Food is the best we've had anywhere for a long time. Perfect for a stop off on our way down south. Will come again. Great value as well.

Really great Sunday roast options; we're talking all the meats and veggie options too. We had roast beef. It was pink, soft and tasty. It came with a great vegetable medley but we added cauliflower cheese and onion rings. Both were fab. Yorkie was a little crispy for my liking, but can't fault anything else. Lots of drinks on offer including a good range of alcohol-free drinks.

My parents-in-law stayed here. We booked it for them and dropped them off. They said the breakfast was excellent, but the bed was very hard and a curtain over the small window in the door would be very useful to keep the early morning light out. The room and bathroom were very modern and clean, but also very small. There was aircraft noise. The host was very friendly.

What can I say. Excellent! Beautiful pub and location, delicious food and drink, exemplary service, and a cosy room to top it all off at the end of the night. I would absolutely stay again when next in the area, and I highly recommend. 👌

Stayed overnight last week whilst visiting the area. From the outside, the rooms do not look like much, but inside, very nice indeed. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. A lot of choice. Very tasty and well presented. Pub itself has a nice quirky vibe to it. Would stay again.

Stopped in during a walk, proper country pub, friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks even with its own dog menu

We've been here several times now and it's always great, definitely the best Sunday lunch in the area by far. Plentiful and delicious every time.

What a great little pub, really liked it here, it looks like the locals do too. We initially sat outside but it started to rain so we went inside. The manager was very friendly & helpful & when we ordered food he mentioned that a table of 17 had just arrived before us so there could be a wait. We didn't mind as we were drinking the local larger & cider 👍 The food was beautiful & presented to perfection so worth the wait even though we only had a ploughman's lunch the scotch egg was home made 😋 delicious . Would I go back again...hell yes. I have just looked at their rooms on google, I would luv to go back & stay here ⭐

Took some friends here for some dinner and everyone said it was some of the nicest food they had ever tasted in the UK. I couldn't agree more. The service and care put into the meal was incredible. Even down to how the side dishes were cooked. You can tell the chief has a love for making good food and you can taste it in every bite. If you want a nice country pub that serves incredible food at a very adorable price, then look no further. You won't be disappointed!

The room was nicely decorated, comfortable but very small. The real thing that was great about the Ring O Bells was Ian and Jo the owners. They made us very welcome, nothing was too much for them and the evening meal was fantastic. Jo runs the kitchen and it is clear that she is a top quality chef. The breakfast in the morning was great and the ingredients had been carefully selected so that everything was delicious. We had our little dog with us and he was also welcome everywhere. We will definitely be going back next time we are passing through.

A great place to eat out: wonderful food & good beer. An Italian trained chef produces wonderful food. It is a good place to have a walk in the country & a great meal afterwards. What could be better on a nice day?
