So glad to have found this little gem . After a long day walking and getting to camp late went over for food to find kitchen closed. Mark the landlord did us a meal anyway and it was fabulous. He is such a great welcoming guy we had a nice few pints and a good laugh. Can not recommend this place enough.
Great hosts lovely atmosphere.
2 beautiful great Danes
Hector & Remie
Meals well cooked and ample portions.
A proper pub. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent host. Will be back soon 👍
A*REALLY* clean pub. Landlord was super friendly and a good laugh. Whilst the menu wasn't extensive, we are delighted to report we had four clean plates after dining.
Brilliant beers. Friendly people. A traditional hostelry serving decent beer.
Lovely friendly staff. The owner went out of his way to cook something Gluten free for us. Really friendly spot. Well cooked food. We enjoyed it. Cheers.
We loved this little find - lovely pub with tasty homemade food. Landlords and their team are welcoming and friendly. Great choice of beers x definitely worth a visit
The brown cow is one of my favourite pubs locally the bar staff are friendly and would help anyone who needs help. The owners Mark and Gemma and so welcoming and put a lot of work into making every experience enjoyable I have never felt so relaxed on a night out
A very friendly, traditional pub , Dog friendly.
Will visit again
This pub / eatery and accomodation, was an unusual find by accident, made enquiries as to a last minute room for bank holiday weekend on the actual day, and came up trump's. Has one or two rooms of varying degrees of comfort available, the one we were given had its own large ensuite with sink, bath, and over bath shower. Found it comfortable with double bed, and tv. It also had use of a small adequate kitchen. It was away from the road so relatively quiet, although some loud voices could be heard from the bar, but these ceased at a reasonable time giving us a good night's sleep. Breakfast is also available, but not on the b/ hol we were there so no feedback on the breakfast.
