Great food and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. The vegetable tempura is one to try!
We had a good meal here which was very fairly priced. The meal I ordered was mild and was definitely that, but tasty, fresh & a generous portion. Drinks options are very limited however spoke to the owners who explained they have only recently opened & they are developing things as time passes. The staff were attentive & friendly. Its great to see a different type of cuisine on offer in Hinckley & a building in a prime position previously unused brought back to life. Good luck to them, I would happily visit again, next time I'd try the noodles & maybe go for a little more spice!
Nids Kitchen serves an authentic Thai experience & you will not be disappointed. I recommend any of the tempuras for starters & pork krapow! Spicier than most of the dishes however if you don’t mind a kick to the tastebuds then I highly recommend the pork krapow. Staff is kind, quick and delivers superb customer service. Overall a quality family dining experience!!

A simple but varied menu, and to top it off, really good prices!

Delicious food, generous portions. We had the restaurant to ourselves which seemed unusual for a Friday night. I hope this is not a regular occurrence as I think this restaurant deserves to succeed. Friendly and genuine manager (clearly has a knowledge and love for Thailand). It was the first shift for the waitress who was understandably a little shy/nervous but will undoubtedly be great at the job if she sticks it out. I would recommend she samples everything on the menu (especially as it's a small yet concise selection). I would however like to have seen a handful more dishes to choose from, and some extras like I've seen in some photos in these reviews (some sort of bread/crackers with dips, just to add some variation/textures to the meal) I hope I didn't just miss them on the menu!
The food was fresh and very tasty and would definitely like to return when the restaurant is busier.
It's still in its early days and obviously been a very tough time with COVID etc, but I wish them all the best.
I have been meaning to go for ages, and finally got the chance on Wednesday after a late evening swim. I ordered the Pad Prik Gaeng (with tofu), and it was incredible. Every sip of the sauce felt really nourishing (it was nice and spicy too!), and the portion size was great and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back, and the service was lovely too. Thank you for a great meal!
Went to Nid's for a meal out with friends and we were all very impressed. Amazing tasting food coupled with a relaxing environment. We tried a big variety from the menu and they were all delicious. Definitely will be returning and if we don't fancy going out they do takeaway aswell! Highly recommend the Pad Thai and Massaman curry. Keep up the great work guys.

Great new addition to Hinckley to dine in. Service was great and the food was amazing, very tasty and authentic. Probably the best Thai I’ve had! The portions were really good too. Inside is all newly renovated and ready for dining in, we will definitely be back again.

Deliciously Tasty Thai food!
Nid’s Kitchen has finally opened its doors to inside dining and it is most certainly worth a visit.
Our visit last night was its grand opening and I can honestly say that the food was fantastic.
We were there for a family occasion and our group was more than 50% vegan. They were delighted to find that almost every dish on the menu had vegan and vegetarian options. I had vegetable spring rolls as an appetiser followed by chicken Tom Yum soup as a starter and chicken Massaman curry. They were all very tasty and there is even an option to have dishes made extra spicy though I found it more than spicy enough!
Portion sizes were very good and should satisfy even the hungriest diner.
As is the case with many places in the nearly post-pandemic world, food and drinks can all be ordered via a smartphone though there are still plenty of staff around for the technophobic. Ordering using their web pages is very clear and simple - there’s even a button on the page to call for table service.
Nid’s Kitchen also offer takeaway and delivery services and have a loyalty points system along with a reward for referring family and friends.
We will definitely be returning!
I had heard about this restaurant opening only this morning. This evening I was at a memorial for a friend, and a friend from Lincolnshire had driven down and we needed something to eat. The maitre d was a young man who was very helpful. The meal was deliciously tasty, and I cannot fault it. I do hope this new venture is a success because everyone was so kind and helpful. Will DEFINITELY go again.
This place is off the charts brilliant. Green Curry - rich, creamy, beautiful. Tom Yum soup is really clean, zingy, hot, sour and perfectly balanced. I've never left a food review ever, but I hope Nid stays in Hinckley and the residents support this brilliant eatery.

Just finished our first take away from Nid's kitchen and it was super tasty! Really delicious! I've not eaten much Thai food but it's lovely, spicy but subtle. Lots of flavour (watching too much MasterChef in lockdown). It'll be a regular for us from now on. I also liked the packaging - recycled cardboard / paper and minimal plastics used. It all helps.
Nid’s was fabulous from start to finish! They delivered promptly and the food was delicious. One item was missing from our order. We called to let them know and they had the missing item to our home in under five minutes. Great customer service! Will definitely be ordering from here again soon.
