Great menu not long to wait plus table available.

Some days it's very slow service because they are filling Just eat or Deliveroo orders. We did stop visiting for a while because orders would get mixed up and items would get missed or wrong but they are back on form again now.
I entered your fine eatery on the 6th of July 2019 and the premises were in good condition with the tabletops clean but the tables and chairs not aligned or angled perfectly. A few younger customers were already tucking into there luncheons, needless to say this table was not as tidy due to the feasts on there pallet.
I approached the sandwich station whereby a gentleman asked me what I would like, so I gave him my order and as expected he presented a reasonable 6 inch sandwich for myself. I pointed at one of the items on display and simply asked “Is that spicy cheese?” To which he responded “Yes.” This being the suitable option to my hearty Italian I requested it which he proudly presented with a mediocre attitude.
I patiently waited for my refreshment to be toasted, whilst me and my chef engaged in awkward back and forth eye contact as we both knew that it wouldn’t be a moment or two but neither of us needed to say this to know it was inevitable. Once the toasting was done, he proceeded to ask me “What salad I would like?” Understanding this would be added to the half a foot sandwich and not a separate bowl, I thought 4 items was a reasonable amount to which my cuisiner added in the buns. The sauce options were a complex one but I got through the questioning of “Want any sauces?” with a preprepared answer of “A small bit of mayonnaise and a small bit of sweet chilli”. To be fair to the poor food prepared “a small bit” is very subjective and is an opinion so I was disappointed with my answer I gave him as I could have been clearer, an apology I wish I had made. He squeezed what I would define as a medium amount of both sauces to the bread, which later proved was a good amount despite the lip biting thought of that would be too much.
Then came a fellow by the name of Adam, compared to his darker haired, stubbled colleague, Adam was a idol of a man. He greeted me by saying “Hello Sir” taken a back I was prepared to buy whatever this man offered at me. He asked if I would like crisps and a drink but a glance over my shoulder to my partner and the glare that she gave said that we could not afford this. With the additional confidence Adam had given me I compromised without consulting my partner and went just for the crisps. The attitude radiated from Adam and I realised his presence in the cuisine was what had turned “a commercial chain fast food restaurant” into a warm and welcoming environment where anyone could eat and feel like royalty. I paid the price which Adam requested from myself with a smile on his face and his positivity shining through me and the queue which had formed in an orderly line behind me. The price to which I could barely remember experiencing this ecstasy Adam had provided. After being handed my neatly wrapped parcel that looks like Santa himself had given me a present when presented by Adam I looked to find the most co-ordinated seat to suit my catering needs.
I took a seat near Adam so I could observe his outstanding customer service skills but just before I did he wished me to “Enjoy your meal” and with those words I knew that the meal although made by someone without as much enthusiasm it had been given the seal of approval from the perfect employee.
Unfortunately my admiration for the clear future employee of the year in my presence was short lived as Adam must have had other jobs to do as outcame another employee a shorter ginger colleague, whilst watching him by no means was he bad at his job, he processed orders and ran that cash register like there was no tomorrow, but it highlighted further that there are colleagues then there are the Adams of the world.
It was a pleasure to be served by Adam today and I would happily go back for a meal at the restaurant again soon.
P.S the sandwich wasn’t half bad either I suppose.
