Booking is easy online. Staff are and always have been friendly when had to call up to change a booking, or amend on the day we arrive.
Staff are very welcoming, accommodating and flexible and I have never had a poor experience when visiting.
There are a group of us who all live an hours drive away so we use The Milestone as our central meeting point for our get together and catch ups from 4 to 8 times a year.
Food has always been lovely with a great menu selection. We always look forward to the festive menu and are already booked.
Great place, lovely atmosphere and ideal for a drink or meal or both with friends or family and is child friendly and provided a warm welcome and excellent customer service.
The staff here are always great. They deal with our order excellently and interact with our children in a respectful and interactive manner that makes them feel very welcome.
The food is always good too and at a price that is not going to break the bank.
Due to the 30% voucher offer the Restaurant was extremely busy, with at times a 45 minute wait for main course meals. All the staff worked together as a team, I have a military background, and they all gave of their best helping each other, without any panic or stress (perhaps there was in the kitchen, but I didn't see it). Service and manners was 1st Class, with each staff member working like an army knowing what to do and when to do it. Tables cleared asap. The food was excellent we had 4 different mains on our table and all were quality, thanks
Lovely pub! Very local to us, so we like to go and have a meal. Whether that’s as a couple, as a family or with friends. It’s a great atmosphere. Staff are very accommodating and welcoming. Gorgeous food! We had the 3 for £12.25 along with some other sides and they were so tasty! Never disappointed!
Was really nice, I had the bbq pizza and my partner had the mixed grill. He said the steak was done exactly how he like it, my pizza was great. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Only issue was that the sausages on the mixed grill were slightly undercooked
This is a nice place to visit with a pretty good menu choices. It's a no frills pub with food but I live local and I know what I am getting so it's more than a reliable place to visit. The staff are brilliant and have been during all of my visits. If you haven't been before, then definitely go if you want cheap cheerful and a good pub meal.
Food was excellent, we were a party of 6 & everyone enjoyed their food. All the staff were pleasant & very friendly, however, service was fairly slow as not enough staff although we were told there was a wait time of approx 30mins for our mains but came quicker. Our sweets took longer than usual. Food was all amazing & we will return although the waiting times were a little long.
Went for my birthday with my son, we arrived and didn’t have to wait to be booked in and shown to our table drinks was offered and came within a few minutes, the service was fantastic fast and friendly, did not have to wait too long for the food that was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious and great value for money. Thank you for making it a lovely evening. Sorry I didn’t know my servers name but he was friendly polite helpful.

Went back Milestone for a meal, it’s quite a quiet night, food we had was lovely, staff was so friendly and nice, a lot better than last experience, thank you 😊

Have been using Milestone for many years, service is up and down and same as their food. I had delicious food and had not so yummy food! This time my steak was so OVERCOOKED, I ordered medium rare but received a piece of tough well done steak! My friend had fish and chips and she enjoyed hers.
Menu is decent, price is reasonable but I believe it’s understaff, it’s hard to get a staff to ask for sauces.
The place is always clean, garden area is beautiful and great for nice weather.
It’s a dog friendly pub, even inside ~ in certain area, but it’s not as friendly as some places that offer bowls of water or maybe treats / biscuits.
Parking is free and plenty, not 100% sure if any time limit?

Food was lovely. A long wait but the staff member on duty ‘Noah’ did an amazing job. Very polite. Constantly checking on everyone. Was so busy and he was the staff member for looking after guests upstairs. Up and down all night and still a smile on his face and a hard worker
The food was good, and the staff waiting on where friendly.
Wait times for food, though, are a bit wild. It took us over 2 hours to have starters, main and dessert, with a good portion of that time waiting for the food.
The Service team was excellent, with wait times from the kitchen.
It was also busy, to be fair, but it did seem to take a long time to get the food out.
I would happily return, though, but I may pick a less busy time.

Woman who greeted us, seated us and took our order was fantastic. She seated us at the bar whilst she cleaned & readied a table for us. She double checked our order with us, brought our drinks really quickly. She was really pleasant and chatty. Food was brought and further drinks were brought by Noah, who was lovely. Noah rang up our bill too.
Friendly welcome, quick service for drinks and food order. Had to wait a little bit for food but glad we got in when we did as overheard waitress say it was 45 min wait later on. All members of staff attentive, making sure we had what we needed.
Perfectly pleasant experience. Perhaps could have been greeted a little quicker but once we were acknowledged we were taken straight to our table and drinks orders were taken. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and good value.
Visited at lunch time so not really busy. Staff all very friendly and helpful,but didn't keep pestering to ask how everything was (only once).food arrived fairly quickly. Gluten free options too which was a bonus. Will use again.
