Same que as food as you had to go inside and order pay for food in the same way. No table service it's only the food they bring to your table

The food is great there, though service could be improved a bit. Ordered the kids menus before adult menu to make sure there food would arrive first and fast, I don't mind waiting for my food but can't keep young kids waiting. Bright and comfortable place to dine in, pub is located next to a canal, beautiful views. There are seatings outside next to the canal too! Lovely people here serving delicious food. Soft play area is a plus, my daughter really enjoys it.
Ate here every night as I was staying at the premier inn next to the pub, all in all the food was good however we where told the chicken goujons portion depended on what chef was on that night as some nights we got 3 and other nights we’d get 4, most of the staff where friendly and cheerful.
Nice bit of “Pub Grub”, not the greatest I’ve had but passable, very nice surroundings and the decor of the place was very nice.

Was very busy when we arrived and que to order when 10 fold. I later learnt the restaurant had had a large party in and complications arrived which caused the delay.
Food was worth the wait thou, both adult and kids' meals were excellent, both in terms of price and quality.
Been customer for an entire week. Every single morning, the buffet was really rich and diversified. At dinner i had the chance to try every single evening any other dish. I can say I've been more than happy and satisfied! The food came in big portions and everything was delicious! Overall great exp

The food is good with an excellent menu and the drinks selection is good too.
All together a cracking pub in a nice location by the side of the Ashby Canal.
Had an early evening meal here with my 8 year old tonight. They managed to squeeze us in when busy, even without a reservation. The food was really nice and great value, especially the kids menu. The highlight for me was my waffle dessert. Heaven!
