What a great find! Travelling through Hinckley looking for a nice breakfast and we found it at Tarro Lounge. Full English , cooked well, lovely staff, great service , good value for money. Highly recommend a visit .
Tarro Lounge is a wonderful bar and restaurant located in the Crescent in Hinckley, it’s a large venue with stylish decor and friendly staff and is also dog friendly.
They have a decent menus and their burgers are particularly good. There are probably better places to get cocktails in Hinckley but otherwise their drinks menu is too notch and very reasonably priced.
The staff have always been friendly and there are plenty of gluten free and veggie options. You also get 3 hours free parking at Sainsbury’s if you collect a QR code voucher on the way out. They also sometimes to special events such as music and quizzes which are also great fun. Excellent venue.

Such a trendy, model and great for everyone’s eating place, seats inside and outside, very comfortable, clean, spacious, super high ceiling with lots of cool decos and pictures, it’s a fabulous restaurant.
Lots of choices of food and drinks on menu, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free & kids options.
The MOST IMPORTANT THING is the place is dog friendly, not only outside area, dogs can go inside, of course customers should be able to control their own dogs. Most staff love dogs and very good with dogs, always ask if they can stroke dogs and if dogs can eat treats (offer biscuits) also offer bowls of water.
Staff again is very polite, friendly, and helpful.
We ordered food and drinks, and paid for the bill by using our phone, so no waiting time and less human contact, we do prefer it, some may say no customer service but we don’t mind. (During covid time)
It’s easy to get to by bus and some street parking and car parks nearby, not free but easy to get to.
Reasonable price range. Will recommend and go again.
Lovely food, great place! 3 dinners in a row in this warm and friendly lounge. I had their chocolate brownie, to die for. A set of tapas one evening, it was to die for! Ultimate Chicken Burger is perfect and really generous. Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Burger is great too. Food is fresh, cooked to perfection and arrives promptly.
The staff is adorable, friendly, competent and makes you feel at home. Thanks a lot!
Decent food, great choice of vegan which one of the party members has to eat due to health conditions so always a bonus. Would say the menus quite small for eating but for drinking there's a massive selection of choices! Desserts were lovely.
No parking onsite but there's carparks close by.
Lovely doggy friendly place to eat, looks like a nice bar to go to on an evening, great food. It does say a lot about the type of people running an establishment like this when the food is such high quality and small details and changes that can be made so easily to accomodate people who might not like certain things are done so with ease. Staff are really friendly and I will be coming here again!
It’s a wonderful place, but I will take the star down for not listing all of the ingredients on menu. (I absolutely cannot stand parsley and there was loads of it on my meal, should I known that, I would of asked it to remove). Also the children’s area is placed to the most illogical place, right by the entrance where door is constantly open - children can run away.
Very upmarket feel but relaxed, interesting quirky decor, lovely staff and OMG the food is absolutely top notch gorgeous!!!! The Mi Goreng is absolutely delicious and the Sweetcorn fritter tapas is gorgeous! Absolutely brilliant place 5*
(Just beware of the Hinckley parking ticket people don’t risk the parking nearby do find a proper car park.)
Went to Tarro last night and it was a fantastic night,the atmosphere was perfect,service was first class and the food was amazing
The front of house were brilliant with us I am disabled and our guest was in a wheelchair and they helped us especially when ordering where I made a few mistakes but were able to sort it out
I want to praise the chefs with the meal they made for us it was amazing ,so much flavour,taste was immense and the waiting time was nothing more that perfect
We always have fantastic meals here , service is great , staff so friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious with a good selection for vegetarians.

Now I'm impressed... Second menu that is only vegan! And is so amazing! Not mention that place is in nice way decorated and staff was friendly and very helpful.
Not a particulary large menu, but it allows them the luxury of presenting good value, quality food. Breakfast is well recommended. Staff are polite and efficient and atmosphere is very nice.
We've started coming here fairly regularly in the last couple of months as we've found the food to be excellent and the service great. Once again, it didn't disappoint. We'll try the rest of the menu at some point but the tapas is so tasty and good value that we haven't managed it yet!
Wonderful food, great service and a good location. Quirky interior decor is nice and refreshing when compared to the bland sandy approach used by many others. Great menu choices with plenty of options for Veggies, kids etc. Large drink selection including cocktails, hot drinks, cordial and alcoholic options. Access friendly. Outdoor seating available.

We went on a Tuesday early evening so it wasn't packed. The staff were lovely and the food we ordered was hot and delicious! I had the Mexican Super Bowl and he had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger. Both were great and the prices were really good too! We had some really nice drinks also. The music wasn't deafening either which is always a fantastic thing for us since we do like to have a chat without screaming over music. We've found a new place we love and will definitely be returning!
I'm vegan and even if your not, check this place out. Foods amazing, beer is cold and the staff are a delight. Will definitely be returning! Vegan hot dog ⏬
Went to Christmas meal 2017. Atmosphere is good. We had tapas to start, I had pork belly for main and lemon drizzle for dessert. Everything was nice, I really enjoyed pork belly and it came with crackling- however, the crackling was way to hard to eat! So why Im giving 4 stars.
I went another time and had seabass with risotto, which was lovely.
