I have been eating Indian food for over 40 years all over the country and this is up there with the very best.
This place is a definite must.From walking in the door to leaving the service was fantastic.Words do not express how much we enjoyed our meal.The best meal we have had in a long time.Will most definitely be going back.Thankyou
Amazing food full of flavour . Very different from your normal Indian restaurant . Glad I've experienced south Indian dishes . There were 6 of us and we all picked a different dish each and shared so we got to sample a variety . The staff were very attentive and the manager was very helpful with any questions we had . You must try one of the dosa's and a poori bread . Will definitely be going back but will find it difficult to choose which dish to have because they were all amazing !
If you are expecting a traditional 'English' curry house then 7H probably isn't for you... however, if you want authentic (& mainly vegetarian and fish dishes) then it is well worth a visit.
The menu is small-ish, but varied enough to give you as much choice as you want. Part of the joy is trying new foods & styles and so far every different dish has been excellent.
Don't be scared to ask if you are unsure about the menu or want some advice or suggestions, the staff are very helpful and are passionate about their food. Xx
Had an amazing meal. It's the best Indian food I've ever had. If you want a normal "honkey" Indian you'll be disappointed. This is like home cooking! No vindaloo or tikka masala in sight. I will recommend it to all my friends and definately be back!
An easy 5 star! The food was delicious and completely different to what you'd normally fond in an Indian restaurant. I highly recommend this place. The flavours in the dishes we extraordinary! Prices a reasonable too! Will definitely be back soon.
After living off South Indian food 2 days a week in Dubai for the last 9 and half years. Finding this place has now made my move back to the uk complete. Amazing food and a must visit, even if it's to try the South Indian masala dosa! Thank you and we will be back very soon
Our daughter recomended it. Went last night for our anniversary, delicious food and nice people. Great to have something a bit different in Hinckley. Good choice on menus for food and drink. Doses to die for and very tender lamb, all the food was superb. Will definitely be back.
First time here last night, lovely food. Staff very helpful with menu and suggesting which dishes to select for the other people in our party who are not keen on anything to spicy. They even bought out a slice of cake with a candle in when they found out it was my birthday. Would highly recommend going.
Mega Indian. Fab food and lovely staff. Had a great meal with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. The staff couldn't have done more to make it a special night. Will definitely be back.

Had another wonderful meal - so different to the normal indian meals we have experienced. Service was great and loved the special gift of the pot of sweet stuff (apologies for my ignorance at not knowig what it was) and box of indian sweets for Mother's day. We have decided as a family to work our way through the menu. April date booked already :-)
Jez and I eat here regularly. We have tried many of the dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed with any of them. My favourite is the fish curry which is delicious! We love the way the staff are on hand to help and advise with choices, and are always keen on feedback from customers in a hope that they can improve in any way. We absolutely loved the valentines menu and the staff made us feel very special. As always.

We had such a lovely meal here last night, a taste sensation. We were u sure of what to pick but we were talked through the menu and given some suggestions. It was a lovely experience, very different to a typical curry house. We'll definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone. Thank you 7H Spices, we'll see you again x
We have enjoyed meals in 7h Spices on three occasions now and every time the food and the welcome has been superb. This is a high quality gem of a restaurant. If you love Indian cuisine give it a go - you almost certainly will not be disappointed - more probably you’ll be delighted. 👍

Sunday evening dinner, lovely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and great service. As has been written elsewhere, not your usual Indian fare. Food was faultless, perfect portion sizes, amazing taste.
Have since had a takeaway and again absolutely brilliant, Highly recommended.
*Update so have eaten here 6/7 times now, very consistent in both quality of food and warm service. Explore the menu, there are some amazing items such as the paani puri and harra Barra kebabs.
Visited this restaurant with a colleague and our families, including a baby. The staff were very accomodating and the service was great. The food was lovely and tasty, and prices were reasonable. There was a nice selection of veg and non-veg food, including a nice selection of desserts. I will be visiting again in the future.
Authentic South Indian cuisine and service with a smile, value for money a must visit if in the area.

Had a wonderful time when I went. We were well waited on and the suggestions on what to get were excellent. They brought out complimentary mango ice cream at the end which was a wonderful surprise. Prices were reasonable and portions were good sized. Definitely will go back next time I'm in Hinckley!
Ordered a takeaway today and really enjoyed the food. The food arrived piping hot. The chicken curry was delicious, with just the right balance of spices and the naan bread was freshly made. The best Indian in Hinckley. Very satisfied and would definitely order again.
Visited this restaurant countless times since it opened in 2016, not yet had a bad meal - highly recommend it if you need South Indian food in Leicestershire
Eat here. Stunning, balanced flavours, attentive with advice to explain the more authentic South Indian dishes. Delicious and interesting . Excellent vegan and veggie range.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming and polite. Not your normal Indian this place has its unique south Indian taste. Would highly recommend and will be going back soon.
This has become our favorite Indian restaurant. Always reliable to provide a delicious meal, great vegetarian options alongside fantastic fish and meat dishes - definitely not your run of the mill curry house!

This place is massive.. like the tardis.. from entering off the main road it opens up into a wide open space. Top end cuisine excellent and its on our doors step. Only ever had food like this before from Birmingham.. well worth a visit. £25 each so not the cheapest but top quality dinning experience.. its a bucket list box ticked for sure

Really hard to find proper south Indian restaurant around here. This place is great. Really nice food, and great staff. Very friendly place for a family meal out.
This place is just lovely. Third visit now. Food is perfect, service is fantastic. Very comfortable environment. Well worth a visit.
If you want to try traditional southern Indian food this is the place to go it was a great menu difficult to choose we opted for one of the in house Currys which was a great change from the usual British invented Indian food and such nice people very attentive
We tried a range of food, Including the starters , Drinks , Main course and can say it very good , every dish had its own flavours not like other restaurants who keep the same base for all dishes with different names , we met the Shef as well , If you are searching for Indian food this is quite a good place to be here with range of options in Veg and Non veg as well.
