Was in the bistro last night for the first time. Service was fabulous. Especially Sean the lovely waiter � Food was amazing, especially the stonebass dish and jam and lemon roulade. Best dessert I've had in a long time ! Then went to the gin bar which was very relaxing and had a great selection of drinks. Had an English Maid cocktail which was lush! Great great night x
Always a great time at the plough, no matter the occasion, large or small. Staff are cracking, drinks selection is second to none and the best lineup of music at weekends. Overall a great experience always had. I recommend to everyone �
Goats cheese tart lovely though a little burnt . Sole main to die for and sticky toffee pudding absolutely delicious. Our waiter Reuban Cobb was outstanding. Lovely setting with great service.
4 of us had a meal at the plough on Easter Tuesday....each dish & each course was beautiful...delicious tasty food....service & atmosphere wer warm & friendly....definately be bak!
Absolutely with out a doubt this is as close to perfect as you can get. They are continuously consistant in the quality of food and friendly staff. I cant stop coming back. Have been about 5/6 times and it is fast becoming my faviourite spot that always delivers on taste!!!

I attended a large group hen party several weeks ago with 30+ people the food was amazing I really enjoyed the evening only slight improvement could be the speed of service but with so many people they managed well. Thank you the plough team keep up the good work

Went for a meal on 5/8/17 was amazing! Went for the simply seafood menu thought it would be in the usual part of the plough but was held in a lovely part of the restaurant I'd never been before. Had mussels for starter and lobster for main. The thermidor sauce with the lobster was delicious. The staff are also very helpful and friendly will have a visit again soon! Lovely!

Great space to eat in upstairs in a nook. Was a special dinner with friends and we'd a great evening. Lovely service from the waiters and a fabulous range of dining in the menu..was v difficult to choose. Sat downstairs at the back after we'd moved after upstairs was closing, weren't really informed, worked it out that we had to move when the windows were being shut! Good atmosphere with music.
Food was fantastic , between us we had the scotch egg, daube of beef and scampi and all was fantastic. We sat outside with the dog which is nice they have the facilities to bring the dog also. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent, we hadn't realised the bistro was up 2 flights of stairs, but that's more our fault for not checking. Quirky decor, attentive but not over attentive waiting staff. Above avg prices reflect the quality of the food. Will return if we come back to the Hillsborough area. Well worth it.
Having a member of the family who was uneasy on his feet due to health issues getting to the toilet was a challenge. A floor level toilet would be a great benefit for those with a disability.
A warm welcome was experienced on our arrival and the Staff were very attentive and interactive. Food was delicious 😋
A lovely pub lunch. Took the four kids and the dog after a nice walk around the local forest.
The food was high standard and presented Well. It wasn't as cheap as some places but it made up for it in the quality you got with the meals. The staff were great very friendly and checked in often even though they were clearly quite busy. Would highly recommend a meal out here
Saturday lunch, cosy atmosphere with a real fire burning. Great food and very polite young men servers. Could have stayed for the day
Just eaten a mixed grill at the The Plough. What great value. No complaints and believe me, I can and do. Awesome service from Matt who made sure I was enjoying my food. Well worth a visit
Food was outstanding. Pub its self was beautiful .a quiet mid week lunch .Young lad served us was lovely friendly and efficient However the chat from the staff behind the bar one of them possibly a manager wasn't great clearly hearing him discuss another job opportunity and travelling to it etc..otherwise very good
