Nice pub, popular with the locals, friendly atmosphere. Worth booking if you want to eat as it does get busy. Can sometimes be hard to find a seat inside, that's pretty much my only complaint. Nice beer garden for the summer.
We were looking for a Sunday roast quite late into the afternoon and remembered The Cross Keys from a previous visit.
When we got there it was busy which is always a good sign . The food was lovely and people were still arriving as we left .

Fabulous food and the best starter I've ever tasted (pork and beef spring rolls with shoots and pickled ginger)
Last minute night out, accommodated us a with little notice.

Absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch and an extremely friendly pub. Stopped off here on our way to Manchester for the Anne Marie concert. I was craving a Sunday lunch, searched on google and this little goldmine popped up. We arrived quite late and without a reservation, they squeezed us in and oh my
Food was some of the best food we have had for a long time, we walked an hour and a half to get to this place, it did not disappoint! 10/10

Don't think you can go wrong with the Cross Keys Inn . Been numerous times since moving to the area 2 yrs ago. Never had a bad meal. Certainly 1 of our go to places. Lovely place and food , look forward to going again soon. Not sure who the owners are but ,Keep up the good work.
