Review Skippers Fish Bar - Highley

I could smell the delicious fish and chips down the street it drew me in. The menu was extensive. The proprietors were happy and chatty and helpful I ordered the small cod and chips and it was still a large portion! Really enjoyed it it was crisp, light and fresh very tasty thank you I would recommend this place

recently the food has been amazing, the chips have become out of this world

Doner meat in naan bread is the way forward! No indigestion at all! It should now be law.

Updated review June 2022 I gave this place another try after new management were getting good word of mouth feedback. I was very pleased to be able to use this place again. The food was great and the service a huge step forward. The cod was especially good. Updated my review to 1 star in May 2021. I watched as they took food that had been wrapped for a collection order and held in the warmer, unwrapped them and put back in with fresh chips. The chips were stale and ruined our meal. I’ve tried chips shops in Bewdley, Bridgnorth and Cleobury and this place had the best tasting fish and chips but they have spoilt it for me now as I don’t trust their respect for customers.

Always great food 😋 but last night I finally tried the masalla fish, with perfect chips.It was absolutely delicious and massive portion as usual. If you like fish,try it ,it's yummy

Great FISH AND CHIPS very soft really enjoy eating from here and my kids loved the kebab and curry sauce great Job guys you doing well great staff excellent customer service quick and easy

First time using this place. Everything looks clean and friendly staff. We ordered pizza which was good value for money and tastey. Will use again 👍

Excellent service and fresh hot fish and chips last night to reward our swimming at the pool in Highley. 13 Wi and book club members swam over 404 lengths and raised money for South Shropshire Domestic Abuse services. Thank you to Staff at Skippers for providing the excellent food. Highley residents you are very lucky to have this great chippy in your village!

What can i do? What can i say? They're Chips! I walked in said "alright babs i fancy a cone or two" and they were cooked fast and tasted lush. Would come again Xx

Cant complain, loads for what u pay and its fairly cheap..fish, chips an small sausage for £3.80 cant beat it.
