Review The Ship Inn - Highley

Stayed for 5 nights, the breakfast and evening meals were excellent as was the Butty Bach real ale on tap 😋. Entertainment was also great. Stayed bed and breakfast but ate there every night. Excellent.

Stayed for the weekend, staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable. Food was amazing, husband said T-bone was the best he had in a long time

Hope this pub returns to it's best. Its always been somewhere to sit relax and enjoy a fab meal. With beautiful views and good service. Had a drink there today. Toilets are beautiful. It was busy with plenty of customers. Great for visitors when travelling on the SVR as the station is right by it.

We spent two nights at "The Ship". We found the staff friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they had no problems accommodating our request to access our room. The room was large, the bed comfortable and quiet. We wish to thank Sue for preparing some sandwiches for us for us to travel with as we had to leave before breakfast. Thanks also for arranging a ride up to Highley so we could catch our bus. Great to see Robindons Cider on tap. A most enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Lovely hidden away pub with nice outdoor seating on the bank even if it is on a bit of a incline definitely visit again

Excellent meal . Good hearty pub fare. Served piping hot and the best chips I've ever had! Good service despite being 2 staff down. Not the prettiest pub as currently undergoing renovation, but we'll definitely be back as really good food for a reasonable price.

Great food and service, especially Tracy and the floor staff. Have been staying in the cottage next door and plan to be back every evening! Excellent Butty Bach too. Thank you guys.

The food was very good. We have never seen such big fish. I only had a starter, because i do not eat as much as i used to. I still had to ask for a doggie bag. Not up and running like it used to be due to fire they had their. Still work in progress, but still worth a visit especially if the weather is good. Beautiful setting by the river.

Called in for a drink whilst we were waiting for our train from Highley station to Bewdley ..pub going through some renovations but still a friendly bunch & a good atmosphere. Decided to have a carvery whilst we were there. WOW ..so glad we did..choice of 5 meats, roasted & boiled potatoes, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, lots of veg choices, huge York Puds & homemade gravy. The meat was cut thickly & they were bringing out fresh veg too. All for just over £15 for the two of us. Excellent value 👏 😁 ..and we could watch a bit of the mens Wimbledon final !

The staff here are so lovely, food always brilliant, will be better once work is all finished. Shame you can't take dogsin restaurant anymore, even though carpeted throughout dogs are only now allowed in bar area. Great place will be back thank you

Absolutely gorgeous food! Very friendly staff - genuinely couldn't do enough for us! Currently undergoing renovation work but this did not detract from the excellent dinner we had. Yes, the toilets are currently portaloo's but they are by far the poshest portaloo's I have ever come across!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Fabulous Sunday carvery by the river. A favourite stop while visiting the Severn Valley Railway.

Just had food while fishing at burts fishing lodge from the ship inn highly recommend the chill con carne will come back and try something else

Had 2 lovely meals in the evening. One on Steak Night and the other on Saturday evening when we had the large fish and chips (very large and lovely). Great time and will be back when we are next in the area.

Just spent the weekend and all three of us had a great time and will be definitely going to be visiting again and again
