The Catch - Highcliffe - Photo album

We arrived with only minutes to spare before the restaurant side closed. We were greeted by one of three young men working there. We were shown to our table and quickly placed our order. It wasn't long before the food arrived but had it been longer it would still have been worth it, delicious. The
The food was good and the speed and efficiency of service was excellent but I did think the portion sizes, for the price, were a little small. Although costs are rising for small businesses, it looks like the chip and battered fish portion sizes have been reduced since some of the photos on here.
I love a local when on holiday and did read the reviews for this place and from that decided against it 🤷‍♀️ BUT... I looked at berties and the price was way over my budget and plus they've too many shops. Lin's was also looked at. But I went to the catch and glad I did. Fish was cooked fresh and th
We've been here quite a lot as it's my grandma's favourite. The food is good, the fish is not too greasy and the chips are a nice mix of soft and crispy. I find the burgers are very bread heavy and it's quite dry in your mouth. This place can get quite busy and is open most days of the week. Service
Lovely friendly young man served me. Fish and scampi cooked to order. We love the food here. Takeaway and sit on the clifftop around the corner.
Fabulous haddock and chips, one with pea fritter and one with mushy peas, with a curry sauce to share. Chips were crisp and crunchy with a soft centre, haddock was spot on, nice crispy batter and beautiful taste. Young waiting staff were polite and attentive also all wore masks. Thank you.
Delicious fish and good chips perfect distance to sit and eat looking out to sea
Thoroughly enjoyed fish and chips from here, good portion size and the fish wasn't too greasy which was great.
Nice Fish n Chip shop in Highcliffe. Plenty of choice from the menu and not too long to wait before our order for 4 people was complete.
Best fish and chip shop in Dorset. Eat in and takeaway, cooked to order, friendly staff and good food.
Great fish and chips. Soft, fluffy chips that were crispy on the outside, and a nice piece of fish. Portion sizes were just right and I didn’t feel completely stuffed after finishing the meal. We bought our meal and drove around the corner to the cliff top, eating on a bench overlooking the sea. Glo
Polite and friendly staff. Loads of chips on the plate! Thought the fish portion looked a bit small, but turned out to be just right! (Couldn't eat all the chips though....just too many for us). I had haddock, my wife had cod....both fresh and tasty. We recommend this establishment.
Friendly staff, fast service & fresh food! One of the best chip shops in the local area. 🐟👌🏻
Food was really tasty. Chips are a mixture of cripsy and soft a fluffy, so accommodates for all the family. The cod wasn't greasy and was really tasty. We also had onions rings which were really nice. We will definitely be coming back again. Although it was super busy when we arrived, we didn't have
