The Oaks - Highcliffe - Photo album

I've never frequented this establishment, and when my friend booked a table for the nine of us, he was a little anxious as to what to expect.I said"Im sure it will be fine". And sure enough it was. In fact it was "excellent " we all of us throughly enjoyed our meals,my steak and ale pie with creamy
We decided to give The Oaks a try even after reading negative reviews but our experience was far from that! The quality of food was excellent, along with the service and the bar and outdoor areas are great! I wish I'd visited before as even though its my local the reviews put me off! I will definite
We had a lovely meal at the Oaks. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Whilst we ate inside, there was a lovely outdoor seating area. Will definitely return on our next trip.
We visited here from Northern Cyprus for a family holiday. We visited the restaurants for our son's 19th birthday. The food was amazing, service outstanding and the atmosphere was fantastic. would definitely go here again.
Edit. Just been again and still excellent standard of food and service. Very pleased. Lovely atmosphere inside and outside they have built gorgeous beach huts for that al fresco dining under cover. We went there for a second time to celebrate a birthday and they were very attentive, bringing a pro
Really great find. Amazing food, lots of seating options.. Bar, restaurant, indoors, outdoors, and beach huts. Service is excellent and the kids menus are great.
Absolutely delectable high quality food at very reasonable prices for a top chef. The meals never leave you bloated, it's just right and all done to perfection. The drinks are great too. The interiors here are lovely and there are also beach huts which you can dine at or you can sit under a canopy t
We were on a family holiday for the week and ended up visiting here 3 times! It was perfect for the children, us and the grandparents - suiting all our needs. Staff were very attentive - we moved tables 3 times during our final visit to hide from and then chase the sun and this was no problem at all
Fantastic food, friendly and attentive staff, highly recommend.
Superb place with delicious food and wonderful and friendly staff. We struggled to book a table for dinner but we managed to get one for lunch and I am glad we didn't give up. Menu is varied and each dish sounds great to try. I had duck which was mouth watering and my partner had burger which was al
Highly recommend The Oaks! Lovely pub inside & out. Great drinks menu, 2-4-1 offers and all the food was lovely. The staff are fantastic. We hired the tent for my birthday party with around 40 of us and it couldn't have been better. Thank you so much, can't wait to come back again!
We ate outside in the garden beach huts and it was a really lovely experience. Even on a colder day you'd be fine outside as the heaters are very efficient!! Great service - I was worried we'd be forgotten about as we weren't in the main inside seating area but we absolutely weren't. Great choice av
Loved the Apres Ski experience, the staff were so friendly, and the food was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back. Also, the pistachio souffle is one of the best things I have ever eaten!!
Nice good sized restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The latter includes 'beach huts' which i am sure kids would love. We ate off regular menu but there were some interesting daily specials. Good service and we all enjoyed our meals that came nice and hot. Some of my favourite beers on tap wh
Everything was lovely. We had a very bright and airy table inside and the service was prompt and friendly. Menu was fairly compact which is often a sign that the food is cooked well rather than trying to do too many dishes badly. Food was tasty... our table had short rib, steak and ale pie, and a co
A relaxed pub restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. I had the short rib and the meat was tender and fell straight off the bone. The price was very good for the quality. They had a good selection of local beers, but only one cider which was a shame.
Lovely pub, nice and busy. Our waitress was really nice and quick to serve drinks. The downside slightly was the food. I had stone bass, which was tasty but a little bland and the portion were pretty pathetic. £22 for a small bit of fish and a smaller portion of rice, no veg, and nothing else se
A great dining experience for you and the family. Friendly staff and flavoursome food. Car parking on site. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the roasted butternut squash main and it looked and tasted amazing. You can tell the chefs value their food and have been working meticulously on eve
