Cliffhanger Restaurant - Highcliffe - Photo album

What a lovely place. We were made to feel very welcome as if we were old friends. The food was awesome too, a small menu it may be, but it was deliciously different and the desserts were amazing too, we recommend this little gem to anyone. I'm sure we will be back next time we are in Dorset
Lunchtime at the cliffhanger was a great experience for 4 . Food was tasty & good size portions. Staff friendly on arrival & at service .
Had a lovely lunch here after a trip to the beach. Between us we had veggie sausages, chips and beans from the children's menu, a ciabatta, chips, latte, hot chocolate, Dorset apple cake, millionaire's shortbread and the warm chocolate brownie dessert. All very tasty. Friendly staff member (we think
Great breakfast with a great view, would strongly recommend! Had a wonderful breakfast here, staff were very attentive and friendly, with great food and lovely coffee! I went for the Edge Pancakes which were one of the best I’ve had in a while, food was hot just as it should be, egg was cooked perfe
Extraordinary views of the sea while enjoying wonderful fare. For us the classic fish and chips with a nicely chilled bottle of Pinot Grigio.
Very nice place, amazing views, but the public toilet is very gross, smells very bad, dirty and no water in the sink. Highly disappointed 😞
A small restaurant on top of the hills. The portions of the food are super great. The location and atmosphere depends on the day you visit, for us it was the usual beautiful gloominess. Drawbacks are that there are many wasps 🐝 on the hunt for food. Given that this is one of the only restaurant her
Have been to the Cliffhanger a few times now and it never disappoints, I love looking out the window at the sea (even if its wet and windy out there) The staff are very friendly and the food is always very fresh and tasty and the coffee is also good!
We visited this hidden gem of a restaurant 3 times during our recent stay in Dorset, once for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The setting is just amazing; for breakfast we sat out on the terrace and were treated to lovely sunshine and stunning panoramic sea views. The food and drink on each occasion wa
Had a lovely evening at the cliffhanger last night for the Freddie Mercury. We had a table of 6 and it was the perfect location. Food was amazing! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Really fun evening!
Very nice place for a quite beer and people watch great views and looked like very good food will defo be back
We came here for a special occasion and they were helpful and flexible with our table booking. We sat in the dog friendly area with good views of the seaside and as far as the Isle of Wight! The staff were friendly and kept an eye on us without being intrusive. I would say though, when you're paying
Beautiful place, specially today, where we had all four seasons in the space of four hours. Our two dogs love it too. One climbs and plays on the dry sand, the other loves the water and to lay down and observe. Perfect parking, and nice café. Today we had the privilege to see little rabbits grazing
As usual food is up to a high standard with stunning views and lovely friendly staff
Loved the food and service from here. The portions were really good!!!
We had a lovely meal. Great food and staff were very friendly; they found some chalks so the kids could do some colouring in. There are absolutely beautiful views from the restaurant and surrounding areas. Parking is pay and display via cash or mobile phone.
This is a great place with great views. I come here a lot but today was told today that I don’t qualify for a loyalty card because I drink tea not coffee. Mmmmmm! Otherwise would have had a 5 star review from me.
