We had a lovely authentic meal here this evening. Run by a lovely couple. Service was lovely and attentive without being too claustrophobic. The food was amazing. We had the Thai fish cakes and dumplings to start. Both were tasty sensations. Then, for main - mixed seafood and jungle curry, both spicy but not ridiculous, with Pad Thai and jasmine rice. Desert was banana fritas with homemade coconut ice cream with a Sauntern and Muscat.
I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
Mid week quiet at this time of year on our last visit. Similan is mobbed at the weekend. This small restaurant really punches above it's weight. Very authentic, delicious food cooked by a Thai chef and served by his Thai wife. A great team, great service. I like the clean, white interior. Good value as well!

Absolutely lovely food, especially considering it was my first Thai food experience. Green Curry with beef sirloin and Thai vegetables, Chicken Stir-fry along with Jasmine rice.

Managed to squeeze 9 of us in at short notice. We all enjoyed the food even those who were not into Thai food. I had the jungle curry which was on point and had the perfect amount of heat for me. Service was also friendly and efficient.
Little gem of a restaurant in highcliffe, owners friendly and helpful with menu, food was good, chicken jungle curry and stir fry prawn with mushrooms plus vegetable side dishes all good washed down with Thai beer and wine.
I've been here for dinner three times and each is as impressive as the last. Genuinely lovely owners make you feel at home without being overbearing. That's a fine art! The food is fantastic, full of flavours.
Lovely authentic evening meal out with friends. Excellent service from the proprietors....made to feel very welcome and were very attentive. Thank you. We will certainly dine with them again soon.
