Our first visit to this lovely place but it won't be the last. Called in today for a breakfast, on our way home to Wales after a weekend break and it didn't disappoint. Great freshly cooked food and friendly staff. And of course we bought some cider from the shop to enjoy at home �

Have been meaning to come here for a while, so yesterday we called in for breakfast. Very impressed, the food was freshly cooked and great quality. Friendly staff and a great country kitchen setting. We will be back for more.

I've been to Richs cider restaurant and shop a fair few times and every time we get great service, excellent food and cider. Very reasonably priced and both delicious. Would recommend you to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I took my parents here today to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. He loves a good roast. Everyone I talked to about this venue told me how good it was. I was also told that you must reserve a table.
We have had many carvery meals over the years and this was one of the best we have had!! Small venue and staff looked after us well. Every table was reserved and it was soon full. My husband had a burger and that was amazing. Perfect chips. Well done Rich’s. We will be back again and again now that we have been!
I would only add that Rich’s should consider a larger porch or entrance hall. We were not seated by the door but if we were it would not have been as enjoyable as very cold out and it was busy so the door was open a lot.

I had an excellent experience at the Cider Press Restaurant. The food was amazing, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious apple juice.

Stumbled upon this lovely place quite by chance when looking for a pitstop. Beautiful cosy restaurant with friendly staff, speedy service and lovely cakes. My mulled cider was delicious too! The toilet facilities are in an outbuilding on the way in and were clean and cosy.
We couldn't resist a look in the cider shop before we left. It was very well stocked with lots of local treats in addition to the full range of ciders.

The burger was one of the best I've ever had - the cider apple chutney really added a unique and delicious twist. The carvery also looked amazing. To top it off, my pint of cider was incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend this spot for a tasty meal and a great atmosphere.

A nice place to relax for a coffee or a meal with a farm shop and cider just the other side of the carpark.
I shared a very well cooked and tasty lunch with my husband today, we had a good experience in the restaurant and enjoyed shopping, cider tasting helped us to choose some lovely treats.

Staff was friendly and helpful. But no first choice no 2 so I had to be happy with the 3rd choice

This Restaurant has had a very impressive refit and the staff were friendly.The food is as good as ever. Visited many times prior to the refit whilst on holiday .May is also a nice time to visit as they always get the swallows visiting at that time of year. They also have a shop where you can many types of cider .Would recommend to anyone.

Very good food lots of it for a great price, we visit regularly and haven't had a bad meal or service yet. However it can get very busy and the restaurant gets very crowded which can make for a canteen atmosphere rather than a relaxing place to dine.
I personally havent used the restaurant yet, but the shop Is open every day. Typical farm house shop with all the best foods & drinks the local area has to offer, & of course lots of cider!
If your in the area its well worth a visit.
