Refurbished offering of a well established village pub.
Inside the pub is cosy and friendly with a horseshoe shaped bar.
The staff were attentive and friendly. Biggest improvement is the garden which is now comfortable and tidy.

We went here after our walk over the fields nearby. A well needed drink and we had very good service. We missed the food as it had finished. We actually toasted to my dad who sadly died on Monday and he used to go to the Horse and Jockey a few years ago.
Great pub - relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Good quality pub food served with a smile at a fair price. We’ll definitely be going again!

Back again to enjoy a delightful pint on a sunny afternoon. After a major refit the place has massively improved inside and out . The front garden seating area is the place to head for. Well worth a visit

Walking the Chilterns we traversed this small village with 3 pubs. The Horse & Jockey is a small pleasant pub tucked away by the church. 3 real ales on offer, the one sampled was a fresh barrel well served in excellent condition. Friendly bar staff. Been here a few times now & we just can't get enough. Accommodating, food is 10/10 & the staff are just so laid back & friendly. Would highly recommend if you want a pool night or out for a game of darts! I always the girl up there now! ❤❤
