Popped in for the first time and the guys were super friendly. Quick service and the mixture of Chinese food along with fish and chips is a great mix. Will 100 per cent be back!

Best chip shop in the area, without doubt
I have been using south hill for about a year now and have never been disappointed, compared with the rest, these are the best and consistently produce excellent quality, great tasting fish & chips week after week. Keep up the good work. See you every Saturday. Yum yum.

Excellent fish and chips and a really good Singapore Noodles. They have a full menu of Chinese dishes in addition to the traditional fish and chips.
Yummy food, and friendly staff. My favourite is the Hong Kong style Sweet & Sour Chicken. Proper chippy chips - not those awful frozen ones like you get in pubs and rubbish chippys. Getting a bit expensive these days, about £10 per person for sweet & sour chicken with chips.
Love the fish and chips here. The staff are warm and friendly; really good service. It's a cash-only place, which is the only reason I don't go here too often because I rarely have any cash with me.
Best Fish & Chip shop in the area. You are always greated with a simle and welcome, chips are well cooked and fish is not greasy. As a change they do a limited range of excelent chinese food, which is also very good. You may have to wait for 5 mins, since a lot is cooked fresh, but it is worth th

Probably some of the best chip shop chips I've had. Made even better when they salt and pepper them up.
Quite busy so phone your order in to avoid waiting but you'll miss out on some free chips to keep you warm.

Excellent fish and chip shop. Great batter, crunchy and crispy. If you like your fish even crisper ask them to double fry it. Probably not too good for you every day of the week but in moderation why not.
