Spent the evening here a couple of weeks ago. Very friendly staff and a lovely evening meal at the fireside. The pub is dog friendly and even has free dog biscuits at the bar, BRILLIANT!!
We've just had a five star meal and family occasion to celebrate Easter Sunday. There were sixteen of us in total (8 adults and 8 kids), and we couldn't have asked for better service.
Our lovely waitress/ children's entertainer, Lois, captured the kids attention from the minute we arrived. They had pin the tail on the bunny, a colouring completion and an egg hunt. The kids had a great time and the adults could relax, knowing they were in good hands.
We all enjoyed our food immensely and there was barely a scrap left on the plates!
I would highly recommend The Crown to anyone, especially with a big family group.

We had a lovely family lunch here today, to celebrate my Husband's Birthday. The food was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and interactive with our 2 children and our young Neice and Nephew. A special thank you to Lois who was fantastic with them all and even encouraged our Nephew to eat his lunch when he said he didn't want anymore, after 2 mouthfuls! � We will definitely be back! x

It’s a good local pub in a fantastic area. Staff really friendly and the food is good. Plenty of choice and quite a few beers to pick from.

Not disappointed, service was quick and staff very helpful to find pencils and paper for our grandson.

A very lovely place with a beautiful outside sitting area. I do like the lights on the outside. If you want to get to a beautiful place with your friends don't hesitate to come here. Me and my friends we are there every week.
I went here for a meal and drinks with my friends before we all went back to uni. Whilst i don’t normally leave reviews me and my friends agreed that we had to for here as it was just all really lovely. Really nice food that came promptly, lovely staff and really fair prices! This is definitely going to be our new hang out place!!
Popped in for a roast. It was a good portion, good value for money. A little pinker than I like so would prefer a choice. Free parking available.
We went here for a Sunday roast with a large wedding party. They were clearly overwhelmed even though the bridal couple had let them know of allergies etc. before we arrived.
The food was absolutely delicious and was served family style. I would go here again with just my family if it were close to where I live.
Came for a bite to eat and the place was welcoming and clean. The food was amazing. My hunters chicken was well made and came out hot. My fiancé's katus chicken looked really good and he couldn't stop raving about how tasty it was.
I have been to this pub many times before and I thought i would give them a great review, Des’s food is great and the service from Micheal was superb. I definitely recommend the crown to anyone in the local area!
Courteney is an absolute credit to the pub and the fact she hasn't been there long like wow, she's amazing more than, one of the other girls that work behind the bar. Courtney definitely needs to be team leader more so what an absolute diamond tonight 💪💪
Went in for food and drinks with friends. Food was very good and a good serving. Staff were efficient and friendly. Great service throughout.

Beautiful birthday lunch enjoyed in cosy atmosphere. This place is quite popular so I would recommend booking in advance.

Had a great night with great Food & Elvis Tribute. I've been coming to the Crown for years and love the atmosphere where you can just Chill Out with a nice Relaxing Drink + the Food is also very nice here. Staff are friendly.
Always a great day had in the Crown after our Darts presentation night food was fantastic and the offers on the drink superbly priced
