We camped in the car-park overnight, so that we could go to a nearby Tough Mudder. Mark and the guys (including Daisy the dog) made us very welcome, even reserving us some space for our two campers. We didn't get charged as long as we had a couple of beers and food, which we happy to do. The food was lovely, and very reasonsble prices, especially as they were big portions!! ππ»π The Full Stack Angus burger and Toblerone tart were lovely! The pub, food and staff are really great!
Really lovely pub with great staff. We stayed in our motorhome and were made so welcome , This pub is really well worth visiting
A nice little country pub. Always Friendly and helpful staff and good food. Great value for money.
Absolutely loved the Wheel :) all the staff are great and the two gorgeous dogs give it a little something extra, food was delicious and it's an excellent welcoming village pub. Highly recommended.
Very welcoming and personable. Thank you for providing the best place to meet with friends, stop off for lunch or go after a dog walk for a cold pint. X
Local community pub. Lovely outdoor seating area, great food and allowed me to park overnight. Britstop location just north of M40 and High Wycombe in the Chilterns. Perfect for an unplanned overnight with a pint or 2 of cider for good measure.
We stayed at the Wheel overnight whilst at a local event. We can't fault any aspect of it! Amazing place! We had pre-booked a space for our small van camper and we turned up to a reserved space, they offered us electric too if needed, we had access to the toilets overnight that were cleaned before the pub shut so they were immaculate. The staff were so friendly, we had a tab at the bar for our drinks and food, with the prices surprisingly cheap. The food we ordered was good, good portion size, and very quick arriving. There was a great atmosphere in the pub (the Rugby WC was on) but the pub was quiet when we went to bed. We thought this pub was faultless, full starts on everything from us. Thanks for letting us stay! S&B.
Lovely local pub with nice food(excellent Sunday roast and puddingπ)and friendly staff.
Dogs in the pub are super lovely and gentle too!! πΆπ
It has good sized parking space.
The perfect venue for a lovely sunny day lovely choice drinks lovely outside area for the whole family dog friendly
Lovely welcome from staff Chloe, Julia and choc lab Bonnie whose buddies were on holiday with the landlord. Honest pub grub and very convenient overnight stay in our campervan before a visit to Hearing Dogs HQ in nearby Saunderton with my HD Elmo. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place, very warm and friendly staff. Great space, particularly the outside, very cosy. We had roast beef dinner, which was hot and fresh, with homemade roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Really enjoyed it and will be back π
A truly fantastic pub. I stayed in my van overnight. Very dog friendly with a brilliant selection of ales. Food was also fantastic. Great conversation had which, as I was on my own, made the evening. I will be back!
Friendly pub with loads of outdoor seating available. Good real ales and an extensive selection of food at sensible prices.
Lovely pub with a car park, close to Hughenden manor. 2 lovely labradors greeted us followed by friendly and helpful staff who showed us to our table. The food was lovely, especially the chips and the prices were reasonable. I must note that despite being a Greene King Pub they don't honour the 15% friends and family discount which could affect other Greene King offers from the AA for example. Thankfully the prices are reasonable so this isn't a problem. Coffee is simple, no lattes or Cappuccinos available but it is a pub after all. I would happily return and I would recommend it to a friend.
Lovely friendly pub, the atmosphere is so pleasant and it goes alongside with lovely food and some friendly labradors wondering around begging for a little bite of your meal, so cute! The staff is nice and the place clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend it
