Really wonderful atmosphere. Lovely staff, good service and great food. Nice to see staff having fun with the kids that come in, and great to be somewhere where everyone is polite and friendly whether you're a regular or a stranger. Thoroughly recommend the breakfast, and looking forward to my next visit this afternoon! *********************** After this afternoon's visit, I only wish I could give it more stars!! The milkshake was outstanding and really refreshing on such a hot day. Definitely worth trying, as well as the oat cookie (pretty much a flapjack!) Which went down perfectly with it.

I brought 2 friends with me who had never been to Hills - they both gave rave reviews and the Oat Cookie in particular was out of this world - all the chewiness and flavour of a flapjack but in a biscuit! And of course no need to mention the sublime bacon sarnies - always fabulous!!

What a brilliant little cafe with plenty of seating. Their vision is incredible and a place like this should always be supported by locals and visitors. Thank you for the tasty veggie breakfast and very nice coffee!

Went in whilst out for a family stroll, we planned to have a couple of coffees but were treated to sweet potato curry with insistence that we take 2 portions home. They refused to accept payment for anything as it was a charitable day & till is closed! Highly recommend stopping in if they are open - don't know what days are charitable or pay for your choices but I'd gladly pay for what they have on offer in favour of other places especially the chains

Went today whilst they had the sponsorship day with Red Kite. A little set menu but a nice choice of options, I went for a fried egg sandwich, which was very yummy! With a coffee and was completely free! Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. Have been in a handful of times anyway and each time was great.

Wonderful meeting place for the local community. Reasonable prices, training people with learning disabilities and trying not to let anyone go hungry.

Simple food but very yummy! Both verge and normal sausages hit the spot and the garden is a lovely little haven out the back
