First visit today for dinner. Absolutely loved it, great food, great service, great ambiance..staff were brilliant, friendly and very attentive......The chicken escalope and sticky toffee pudding are a must. Gem of a find! �
Visited this pub on Xmas eve for a lunch with friends, wow what a fabulous place, great food, lovely ambiance, wonderful service, will definitely be coming back again soon.
Came with a large group a couple of weeks ago. I have an allergy to lupin flour which has a severe reaction. I cannot compliment this establishment enough. I called in advance to make them aware, they noted this and asked me to make myself known on arrival. I did this and was instantly reassured by the restaurant manager and that he would serve my meal personally. Without a fuss and making any big deal he served my food at the same time as anyone else. No fuss, no big deal, no feeling of uncomfortableness for me. This has to be the first place I've been where I've not felt awkward about my allergy. Every eatery could learn something from this type of service. Suffering from an allergy isn't easy and always made worse when establishments don't know their allergens! 5 plus stars for here for the service and the delicious food which I haven't forgotten either! �

Had a surprise birthday meal with all of my family last night to celebrate turning 30. We had the whole back area to ourselves; The 3 course set meals were amazing, everyone loved the food and the staff were fantastic. I wish I remembered his name but one guy went above and beyond- He was very helpful; taking photos and even entertaining our little 2 year old. He was constantly cheery despite the huge number of people and made the night perfect. Many many thanks again! We will be back as always x
First time today for my Nan's 80th, we pre-ordered as there was a few of us and the starters came out very quickly as did the mains, drinks were a little slower! Service was great and food was wonderful! My nan is a hard lady to please and doesn't normally eat a lot but cleared most of her plates!
Great wine and great food. The service was top notch too. I look forward to going back and having a steak and bottle of Malbec again.

Beast fish and chips I’ve had for ages. Delicious crispy batter, fresh cod perfectly fried and chips to die for. The ice cream dessert was great, especially the strawberry ice cream, not coloured pink and subtly flavoured. Yum!
Had a business lunch today, so nice coming out of Covid to get out and about! Had pie and mash with gravy and veg, colleague had ham egg n chips. Good quality food. Service was adequate.
Went for dinner with friends. Food absolutely delicious. Such a lovely pub. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Definitely visit again. The sunday lunch looks good.

We were tired having driven out of London. We rang ahead to book and the staff were really friendly. It's a lovely pub serving good food not far off the M40. I would recommend it.
Stopped off for some lunch to break a long journey up and were very glad we did. Nice atmosphere, good value tasty food, would return again if in the area.
Lovely food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. If you fancy an evening drink with friends, a good traditional pub dinner or a quick and tasty lunch this is the place to go! I couldn’t recommend more and will be back very soon!
