Phoned up and booked a table for the England vs France game - very accommodating and a lovely little pub with open fire. Half time came and the barmaid brought round sandwich’s and sausage rolls even though we hadn’t ordered anything. Will be returning for a roast next time 👍🏻 thanks, Chris and the

Popped into the Forrsters Arms yesterday with my partner and baby for a Sunday afternoon and was not let down. The service was brilliant, the roast was amazing! And such a friendly pub. The ladies behind the bar are hilarious and so welcoming. Will definitely be returning.
My friends and I had a delicious Sunday roast today in this charming and very friendly country pub. Apparently they had no chef and landlady Karen did the cooking! All I can say is she did an amazing job as we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. And the nut roast was a definite hit!

This is a lovely, traditional village pub with a very welcoming landlady. My husband and I feel lucky that we stumbled across this gem when we were staying in the village. Had a fantastic roast dinner on a Sunday. We are fussy with our roasts and they clearly delivered. Lovely meat. Proper roasties and lovely gravey staff were very friendly and helpful definitely go back loved it dxxx

We had my father's wake at the Forresters Arms on the 7June 2018 the buffet they provided for us done us proud there was a good selection of hot and cold food which was excellent Karen Bob and staff are very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend
