Pleasure Boat Inn - Hickling - Photo album

Great pop up pub currently in place while the Pleasure Boat Inn is being refurbished. Great Woodforde's beer and an excellent location. Great place to stop after a busy day round the Broads. So peaceful
Camped in pub carpark in exchange for having a pub meal. Went kayaking in the morning £4 slipway fee. Great peaceful place with 24hr loos.
It's got a lovely outside eating area which is the stuff of picture postcards. The post covid opening menu was too samey. Don't get me wrong, the food is tasty enough but not much variety. Staff were lovely & the ordering system worked a treat.
**motorhome stop over review** we stayed here for one night in our motorhome, while taking our children to see the beautiful seals on a nearby beach. pub did not request any money up front, I just emailed in advance and they confirmed availability. we had a lovely family meal in the pub. fairly
Great pub! Absolutely wonderful social distancing for ordering and getting served. Doesn't feel forced, just natural. I had a cheesy jacket potato and it was delicious. We sat under the marquee and it was nice and sheltered but still open. Would definitely reccomend
A very nice pub with a selection of different local ales and ciders. As I was driving later I went for a pint of Fosters, thinking this would be a non complicated choice and I wouldn’t want another. How wrong could I be. This supposed simple lager was full of malty notes on the nose and the pallet.
Pizza and cold g+t from the popup bar in the beer garden. very nice, hope it fully opens again soon.
Very friendly and hospitable to boaters. Hub of activities and worth a visit. Decent beer and food and delightful live music on Monday evenings with The Occasional Ceilidh Band.
Stopped off here on our day trip adventure, really good location with friendly staff, kitchen is undergoing maintenance but the sandwiches they had on offer went down a treat. Great place to go for a drink.
Lovely spot by the river. Nice fish and chips.
Nice quiet pub right on the boards serving decent food and beverages
Nice lunch sensible portions and well presented 😎
Please read all of this. The Pleasure Boat Inn is closed for work and refurbishment at the moment BUT there is a pop up pub operating on the premises and you can use the beer garden and covered area there. They have some lovely cider and a few beers. There is also a pizza van beside the pub that do
