The Red Lion - Heytesbury - Photo album

We attended a wedding here recently and can not fault a thing! Other than the weather. Which, the pub overcame quite well with two fantastic, gigantic marquees. The service was very quick and friendly, the buffet was top notch and the roast pork baps were perfection. I will most certainly be visiti
Lovely place to stay. The building is lovely with a great classic pub vibe. I had a room for one night. The owners are really friendly. The food is excellent with big portions. The rooms are really nice. They are spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed. Will definitely book to stay hear again
Stopped off for a quick lunch. Lovely pub in a beautiful village just off the main road between Salisbury and Portsmouth. Huge beer garden out the back. Very friendly staff and nice food.
Called in here for a drink after a days walking - excellent service and great friendly locals - do not get both these days - good community pub and is next door to the post office
Second stay at the Red Lion and certainly not the last. The owners, location and rooms are fantastic and the food is to die for. Absolute 10/10!
Stopped for lunch on our way to holiday in Bath. Lovely friendly pub with excellent food, shame it isn't our local.
Visited for Sunday lunch 26.2.23. Friendly welcome. Lovely setting. Good choice, very good value prices, and excellent food. Lovely staff. What more do you want? Will definitely be back. 😀
Traditional country pub in a lovely rural setting. Busy, welcoming and friendly.
They sell proper pie...none of that bowl of stew with a bit of pastry on top.. yay
Lovely cosy pub, family and pet friendly. Very busy with families and locals. Warm welcome, good ale and cheesy chips were amazing. Would recommend and definitely will return.
Lovely pub, really friendly staff, had a good laugh with them , and lovely food
Really great village pub.... v friendly staff, pub dog, home cooked food, family friendly, huge pub garden - what is there not to like? Definitely recommend
Absolutely delightful, we had a great time. We had the curry of the day, the beef lasagna and a couple of desserts. The food was delicious, and the bread and butter pudding so nice that my partner wanted to ask for the recipe. The staff were genuinely friendly and lovely and went above and beyond
We stayed in Heytesbury for a long weekend and had drinks at the Red Lion on the Friday night, dinner there on the saturday night and the roast there Sunday lunchtime. The staff and food were 'fabulous' just as the sign behind the bar says. 😀 they even made gluten free crumble specially for me and
The wait staff were lovely and very friendly, and the food was pretty good! It was very reasonably priced too. The beer garden was great, lots of tables spread out at a good distance from each other. They also had some great play areas for children, and offer children's food. We'll definitely be goi
Good food, friendly service. Easy parking in road outside.
We've just had a wonderful Valentines meal here. Glass of Prosecco on arrival and a bottle of wine with our meal. The antipasti was the best platter I've ever had and the following three courses were just as good. I agree with a previous review that the pub dog was as welcoming as the staff!
My husband and I came back to our old local to meet friends and wow. Amazing refurbishment inside and out. Staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was incredible. Thank you so much and we will see you again soon!
Stopped here after a walk and had a lovely lunch. I had a freshly baked bap with bacon, lettuce and tomatoe. Others in my group said their food was delicious too. They had meals from the main menu: fish and chips, lasagna, ham egg and chips etc
