Had the most amazing Mother’s Day afternoon tea in there today. Everything was perfect and very yummy. Loved the soup shots too thought they were a great touch. My niece was very excited to have her own afternoon tea stand so it was lovely that they did that for children! Mum loved it and we hope to be back soon

Loads of amazing looking cakes (too stuffed for cake so brought some home).
Friendly staff, HOT coffee (nothing worse than tepid !).
Complete gem of a find and the sort of place you’d recommend to anyone living in or visiting Norfolk

A lovely little shop. Tea served in beautifully colourful tea set (the way tea should be served). Flavourful light lunch and scone.
Recommended to book a table as they do get busy.
We think it's the best afternoon tea in Norfolk, really like the delicate touches to all the cakes and the savoury bites are seasonal.
The place is nestled in a gorgeous little village, with some lovely walks close by, good parking around the back (free).
The staff are wonderful and friendly.

Heydon Tea Room is a truly hidden Gem. We had another stunning afternoon tea yesterday, which was wonderful. The attention to detail on the afternoon tea is faultless, so much time and love has gone into making everything. Nothing is too much trouble, and every visit we have had has been special and memorable. We will be back again, thank you Cindy and your team.
🐥 This is the best afternoon tea I have ever had 🐥 booked ahead as a birthday treat for a friend visiting the area. You may frown at the pricing 💰 but please don’t it’s worth every penny. The team took on my food wishes (no mayo or 🐟 ) and produced an eye watering amount of treats! I have been to Heydon several times and they never disappoint. Not to ruin the surprise but I would recommend the lavender scone with lemon 🍋 curd (even if you’re not a floral person like me) and the fig & apricot scone with ap jam and clotted cream ! Quite something. Whoever makes these is a magician that’s for sure. ✨

Logistics wise- very easy to find on map and huge FREE car park 🚗 . Not sure about wheelchair ease as gravel car park 🦽

This is a cosy and utterly charming Tea Room, located in the beautiful rural village of Heydon. It occupies a characterful old building and overlooks the large village green.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the service is personal and friendly. It was busy when we went and booking is advisable to avoid missing out on a real treat. It is very popular and seating, both inside and out, is limited.
We chose Afternoon Tea for two, which included an estimated seventeen different, delicious items each, both savoury and sweet, and unlimited tea and coffee.
We recommend you enhance your visit and take a gentle walk round the village and a stroll through the grounds of Heydon Hall (by the kind courtesy of the owner). Summary: English perfection.

Very busy which was lovely to see.We visited 30 mins before closing, lovely sausage roll, cake and coffee, all were lovely.
Had table outside overlooking the green, lovely surroundings.

A lovely Tea-room in a great setting. It was recommended to us when we stopped by Cawston Village Hall (which itself deserves support) this morning. We returned here in the late afternoon and had a very pleasant tea and cakes. Friendly staff. Great tee and super cakes!!
