We ordered cakes from here 4 days in a row whilst we were holidaying in Northumberland last week. They were handmade and good quality. The carrot cake was especially nice (had that twice). I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. Although we only ordered the cakes, the rest of the food looked really good too and I'm pretty fussy. I thought it was a great idea that they had a hatch window at the side where you could order from outside if you needed to. Great if you have an excitable dog you want to remain outside with.

We stayed here for the night whilst travelling for a Marathon. Danielle was so accommodating and welcoming and everything was absolutely perfect. We’d never stayed at a BnB quite like this before! the rooms were more than perfect, clean and comfortable it was like home away from home for the night. The breakfast in the morning was amazing! My toddler loved every second and hasn’t stopped asking to go back ! I’ve already recommended to all our family and we will definitely be coming back here again for a trip. If I could give more than 5 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thoroughly enjoyed a strawberry milkshake, with cream on top, and cheese and onion quiche. The milkshake was probably the best I've ever had bar none. Friendly staff, good service despite being busy. Probably the best value for money meal I've had in Bellingham.

A perfect 2 night stay - just wish we could have stayed longer. Spotlessly clean, fabulous location for walks and lovely village with so much history and wonderful friendly people. Food was excellent, service excellent, price excellent, room excellent - everything was spot on! Luxury spa bath with TV was extra special! Thank you for making our visit to Bellingham just brilliant - will definitely return!

We booked in at short notice and the staff were very accommodating. We had a room upstairs which was very good and the bathroom had a shower unit and a whirlpool bath. Above the bath was a to if you wanted to watch while in the bath !! As it was above the cafe breakfast was anytime and again was excellent. Next time we are in this area we will definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff

Lovely food with attentive staff. My hubby is pescarian so often goes for fish dishes. He found their fish and chips to be really nice. My soup of the day was lovely too. We have paid more for average food in other establishments so value was good too.

We had breakfast baps and they were really nice. The place is dog friendly. We chose to sit outside as it was a nice day but well behaved dogs are welcome inside too. There is a great range of food on the menu from an all day breakfast menu, light bites, meals, puddings and cakes. We'll be visiting again when we are back in the area

My partner and I spent the weekend at Fountain Cottage and we had a great time. The double en-suite room was large and clean, with a comfy double bed. The highlight has to be the amazing food, which was spot on. The cheesecake is not to be missed! The b&b provides a great base for local walks.

I can't comment on the rooms as I just popped in for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Great service and lush sandwich. Good portions and ideal place to pop in when going for a walk.

Stayed for one night while walking the Pennine way. The twin room (number 5) was brilliant. Beds are very comfortable, and the shower is very welcome. Sadly, as they do not serve dinners on a Teusday, we did not get to experience their evening meals. But the breakfast was very good with lots of choices.
