Always come to this pub when up in the area, great meeting place with affordable beer, sports bar it's not but tries to be although lots of TVs in the right place if that's what you're after, staff friendly so always a bonus

Lovely staff. We popped in with 2 kids and a dog on a random Tuesday we had off work, and the locals were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a game of bingo and a pint, great experience of a proper old school English boozer!

Brilliant small friendly pub in Hexham.
Al lively backstreet pub in the centre of Hexham, tv's on every wall show football and horse racing. I only called in for a quick pint at lunchtime so can't give a full report but. I think they provide food, and I was given a warm welcome by both the staff and patrons.
We just called on for one on the way past. There is plenty of seating and loads of standing room. As we were only on a flying visit there's not much more I can say about it. That being said, it did seem to have a nice atmosphere about it.
Perfect place to watch the football. Lots of screens, cheap beer and a good sized beer garden with more screens. Pool table and darts too - what's not to like?

A first visit to a pub since they re-opened & it was a good experience. The staff were terrific. They have put a lot of thought into their new procedures & everything worked well.
Great bar, staff and drinks range plus a fantastic beer garden! What's not to like! Live music occasionally plus pool and a jukebox!
