Amazing little vegetarian cafe in Hexham. Our whole experience was 5 star. Vegan mushroom pate was the best I've tasted and vegan fruit scone was delicious. It's fantastic to find places like this offering imaginative vegan food. Every town should have one of these
With a warm welcome, and staff who are friendly and helpful, this vegetarian cafe has a decent menu, with many vegan options. Additionally, it is in itself a worthwhile cause as it seeks to employ people with mental health issues and learning disabilities as part of its charitable aims.
I only had a cup of coffee and a toasted tea cake, with my granddaughter, but they were delicious and served quickly and well presented. The staff were happy to help with the pushchair and made the whole experience a pleasure I will return to.
Lovely wee place we chanced upon. Food inexpensive and staff friendly. Glad to be supporting a good cause too.
Excellent experience. Food was great and they cater to vegans. Staff were warm and friendly .
There's obviously a lot of love for this place! Had lunch with a pal here yesterday. The sweet potato soup was thick and filling, sadly I had arrived too late for the famous scones....The gf orange and polenta cake was delicious and chimed well with a raspberry and cranberry tea. The quiche plus pickle, salad and cheese savoury also hit the spot, as did hot chocolate and carrot cake. Service was charming and polite. Gentle background music and squeaky doors!
Six of us including a wheelchair user turned up at lunchtime and were soon accommodated comfortably. The service was excellent and attentive, the food lovely. Our favourite place in Hexham
Comfortable clean and bright. Great scones cooked each day.
Beautiful tasty soup served with excellent bread. Served by very pleasant staff. Thank you
Excellent coffee and the orange and polenta cake is so tasty. The service was friendly too. We'll certainly be back to this great cafe.
Delicious healthy food, great for lunch or a snack with a great price. I love the concept and charity behind this organisation and the staff were wonderful.
Vegan options are available and my fruit granola bar was both scrumptious and vegan!!
As a father of a special needs child. The principal the charity has is lovely and touching. The volunteer that served our lovely homemade cakes was a sweetheart and clearly proud and happy to be helping. So very polite too. Coffee was a tad weak...but hey who case...
