I went for my mother birthday and the food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The workers were professional and really friendly this was the best service I have ever received in a restaurant. I would 100% recommend this to anyone. Thank you so much for a great experience

There are 4 of us including 2 children under 10. We didn't have a reservation & called in on the off-change as the children were starved. It was very busy & they said we could only have the table for an hour but that's plenty with small children & as a result the service was punctual. The staff were all very friendly & were more than happy for the children to share a pizza, they are HUGE. Food was amazing & generous portions but not too expensive, good value for money. A perfect little gem.
Lovely food for a meal just after finishing work. Early bird menu was good value for money. Service was spot on and was really nice to be bustling full on a mid-week evening.

An excellent restaurant, we were on our way to the cinema and popped in on the chance of a seat. The staff got us one and were so helpful and friendly.
The meals were excellent, so tasty just knocked slightly as we like a little salad with ours, but that's our taste.

You're guaranteed a great Italian dining experience at Buongiorno. There are plenty of delicious choices on the menu. The staff are lovely and the portions are hearty.

Very Italian. Good food. There were several lone men just sitting with coffee. There aren't that many cafes that are so man friendly.

Lovely. Not as nice as when it had an upstairs years ago but nice enough. Like virtually all venues in the UK in 2023, overpriced but that's the UK not this restaurant in particular.
Went in today for some takeaway food, so glad we did, it tasted so nice.
Not like some "Italian" restaurants where you could make better at home, this guy knows what he is doing, and it tastes so authentic too. Rarely tasted food like it outside of Italy before. Even the courtyard around the back has that Italian feel, I bet its amazing on a summers day sat out.
If you expect over the top pizza toppings etc. Which destroy the pizza then you don't understand Italian food.
Owner even lent us 2 forks which he was prepared to loose, as we were at hexam hospital for an appointment. Needless to say we returned them after our meal.
Just go here, it is a true Italian dining experience even if it is takeaway. When lock down is over we will be travelling here again.

Was here last night (28th December) after a walk. We just search for restaurants in Hexham and this one came up.
The food was amazing we had the antipasto to share then pasta dishes with 2 Very large glasses of house red. When the bill came we couldn't believe the price for the quality of the food!!!

Had the sea bass. It was really lovely and the tomato garlic bread was great, very thin and crispy. Service was quick and courteous.❤️🤗😍🍕
