We were a party of 13 we all had the Christmas Turkey dinner which was excellent, hot, tasty and well presented. The service was very good, all meals came out at the same time. The dining room was warm and cosy. Everyone enjoyed the food which was not just delicious but very good value. The new man
Great little hotel, great Samuel Smiths beer, and great food. Cash only pub which is good to know before hand as nearest cash machine is a drive away. Rooms are nice and very reasonable with a good breakfast thrown in.
Tastefully refurbished, very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and very well cooked. Very good value for money, felt more luxurious than that. Had early morning walk down to the bird reserve which was a short walk and beautifully peaceful. Will stay again on way up to Scotland, easy

There are a number of rooms for food service so it has a large seating capacity but still feels intimate and not too noisy. The food its self was very good, one of the burgers was a bit undercooked bu

A very cosy place to go for either a drink or a full meal. Not stayed overnight but the dining and pub area is very nice. There are mixed reviews as they have been swapping cheffs and staff to get a good mix but today it was very nice as it has always been for me. Good atmosphere and dog friendly as
