Just celebrated my dad's 50th here. Jane closed the whole restaurant for us and served a delicious 3 course meal for 20+ people! Highly recommend the roast dinner. I'm a regular to this cafe and the food is always of excellent quality, staff lovely and helpful.
Special thanks to Emma Denmark for lighting all 50 of dads candles! And of course to Jane and David for the scrummy food.
Keep up the good work, this place is a little gem!

I love Janeys. The lasagne is amazing and the chips are the best I've ever had. Really friendly and excellent service. Would highly recommend this lovely cafe.
Jane and staff provide excellent food, a happy friendly service and can accommodate my special diet needs and charges are very reasonable. Nothing is too much trouble.

This was our first visit!! We were blown away!! From the lovely greeting on arrival till the goodbye at the end of our meal everything was excellent!!! Our breakfast was superb!!! We can't wait for our next visit!! Keep up the great work you do!!!

Today was my 4th visit to this thriving little cafe and as always food was top quality and a very enjoyable experience! I had the roast beef which came with fresh vegetables, pudding and thick onion gravy (and plenty of it!) Everything was cooked really well and had that homemade appeal to it.
In the past I have also had tuna jacket potato, tuna toastie with deep fried home made chips which are absolutely amazing, and this cream egg cheesecake which was delicious!!! Not just a cheesecake with a cream egg stuck on the top as most places would do, the whole mixture was made with cream egg so flavours were strong and it was divine!
All the food is served nice and hot, it arrives pretty quick and the cafe has a nice homely feel and is very clean. As soon as people leave there is always more people waiting to come in! Janey (the owner) is very friendly, and if she has time inbetween cooking she often comes out to talk to her customers which gives it a very personal touch.
I want to return soon to try the full english breakfast and will be recommending this place and encouraging my family to visit!

Went for the first time today, had an awesome breakfast, served by Janey who was smiley and very welcoming, about time a decent cafe came to our area, good value for money as well, and will be returning without a doubt!

Had a great fry up with my Mum. The staff were very quick at serving us and very friendly. Very nice homely vibe which I appreciated. The medium fry up was more than enough for me, reasonably priced too. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be returning 🙂
Janeys is everything that you want from a community cafe, simple food at great prices served by people who care.
The coffee was not the best, the cakes a little dense but the ideals are heartfelt.

Hands down the best breakfast you can buy! Perfect food every time and I've never left feeling disappointed. Served by the waitress almost immediately! Very friendly and helpful with lots of options available, and modifications to our order were no problem at all! The food arrived impossibly quick, and it it's always delectable!
A good old fashioned cafe with good old fashioned basic cafe food. I had a roast beef dinner which was nice. They also do Sunday dinners to take away which is a fabulous idea. The staff are lovely and friendly. Easy parking. All on one level so would be ok for wheelchair access.

What a gem of a place, especially as it has its own off road parking. My homemade burger n chips was gorgeous and my wife said the sandwiches we're delightful. With a proper sized pot of Tea and Supafast and friendly service it's the perfect stopgap. Will defo be calling in again.

We heard that this place did gorgeous breakfasts so went out of our way for one here, and yes! I had the best cheese and mushroom omelette I have ever experienced in my life!!!!! We all thought that the staff were fantastic and would definitely recommend this place if you want a proper, big breakfast. Or just a nice one.
