Fantastic food. Well presented, good portions, excellent quality. All with some idyllic scenery across the Dee Estuary.

The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was delicious, we had two courses and struggled to get through dessert and the portion sizes were big. When walking up to Sheldrakes you'd be forgiven for being apprehensive about what you'd booked for as the marshland around it can look desolate and in need of a revamp HOWEVER if you let that put you off you will have really missed out. The owners can't control the area but what they can control is
I've just had my wedding at Sheldrakes, upstairs and it was amazing. An incredible setting, relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. All staff worked hard to make sure everything was in order. I highly recommend Sheldrakes.

Good restaurant with great views over the River Dee towards North Wales, food has always been good when we've been and the staff helpful and friendly. Parking is in the public car park which is a short walk from the restaurant. But you can get a car down to the door to drop off people
