I've only lived in the North West for 2yrs and in that time I've completely fallen in love with Mowgli's (Water St). I genuinely didn't think it was possible to find a restaurant to top it. However after visiting both Liverpool and Heswall Barton Rouge restaurants I've been blown away by the quali
I've never been compelled to write a review before, but this place deserves one. I've never had so much meat in a curry before, fantastic value. Great taste. 3 onion bajhi, instead of the usual 2. Best curry I've had. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it's early , so a bit quiet.

It's a bit hectic being New Years Eve. Even having to be asked to move tables in the middle of our meal wasn't the best! However, the meal was well presented, hot and delicious 😋

There is a good range of menu options and the food is delicious. On a busy Saturday night they would have benefited from a few additional staff, however the
Outstanding service, small details like replacing napkins often, refilling drinks, making recommendations etc. Lovely food, will be back.

I am from London and often travel to the Wirral to visit family. I have eaten in London, Manchester, Birmjngham, the South East, including Southall as well as other curry houses up and down the land... and I can say, in my opinion, when the chef is on form at Barton Rouge, Wirrall, and to be fair 8

It was a bit chaotic as it was very busy but we were shown straight to our table. All of the staff are very polite & friendly. The food was first class....extremely tasty, great spi
