Literally a pub that caters for all aspects in life. I've come in for multiple reasons and the staff and service have always gone above the bar to ensure I've had a good time. I've been in with my 1 year old son (which may I add loves the kids meals here as there is a choice of building your own meal to cater for any picky eater) and they've always made him laugh and served me great pub grub.
I've also come in for a few bevvies in the evening as any lad does and the staff aren't shy. They'll happily have a laugh and a giggle with you which is the reason why since moving to hessle we have made the granby our new local!

My girlfriend and I often go to Hessle to look at the charity shops..We used to just go to a sandwich shop but today we thought we'd try here today...and really really glad we did!! I had a cheese and bacon burger (50p extra for a pint with it!!) and she had a cheese and caramelised onion relish wrap. Superb food and fantastic value for money. The person who took our food order was very helpful (she has a severe allergy to sesame and he was more than happy to thoroughly check ingredients)...Erm....and £3.05 for a pint of Stella...UNBELIEVABLE!! Teehee will definitely come back here when next in Hessle!!

Amazing bar staff and a good pint, we came to Hull (Hessle) for Radio 1 big weekend and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, we got a fab takeaway and Indian meal on their recommendations! Thanks for making our weekend x
The Maquis of Granby is a cracking place to visit during the day, or for a drink on a night. The food is brilliant, the staff are excellent, and I always feel and get a nice welcome when ever I walk in.

What an amazing night the staff were amazing and despite some difficult customers kept smiling the whole night, the place was electric with a live band and it was fabulous. Before everything got going other people around had food which looked amazing and they had good things to say so will visit again for food and especially for another live event, well done to all who made it possible the Kingsmen were brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant staff all night long, our Christmas do for work was a blast all thanks to the team at Granby, very thoughtful and generous set up. Fantastic service all round

Started to go here regularly late morning on a week day for a wonderful English breakfast, very reasonably priced, and served by friendly, welcoming staff. LOVE the fact that it's so dog friendly too!
I came in Saturday night atmosphere was great. Really busy bar but wasn't waiting too long. Laura served us and also got us signed up to there new mixr app. Cheers.
