Not a huge selection of food on the menu, but I was super impressed with what we did get! The pizza was amazing and so was the Yorkshire pudding wrap. Defo recommend.
Only stopped briefly for a quick refreshing drink as today is a hot day, couldn't rate food or atmosphere as sat outside, I did glance at menu which looked quite reasonable priced.

First time in The Hertford Bell. Had a great night, bar staff were friendly, atmosphere in the pub was good and a great band on Undercovers. Didn't go in the beer garden but it did look impressive. Drinks were reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again when next in Hertford.
Meet up with friends here every Wednesday and have never had a problem. Holly is extremely helpful and remembers what her 'regulars' drink. Pleasant garden
Great place to meet friends, and have a good night out. Bar staff are friendly and they show sports and live entertainment. Just had lunch in there and the food was great.
Great pub in the centre of hertford, food was good and the drinks are equally as good. Lots of outdoor seating and a brilliant atmosphere on a weekend

Only thing that was odd was the loudness of the DJ, is drowning out any conversations that you try to have with the people you're there with?

Great pub. So much better since now leased rather than being a Greene King managed pub. Landlords (husband & wife) are always on the bar, great team of young staff who are always clearing tables and offering drink top ups so no need to go to the bar. Lovely pub. Great garden, friendly staff, always something going on of a weekend (bands, DJ, etc.), shows the football/boxing/whatever, and probably the cheapest in town (excluding the Wetherspoon, obviously).
